Got cent key two or three days ago. Downloading blockchain was a big trouble, so i checked peers list, got their ip's, deleted all ip's that has lover than v10.3.5 and not maximum height then added lines to wallet config file as connect=peer_ip and after that restarted wallet. In debug.log i've seen that wallet (each time i run cent/piggybank wallet) rechecks all blocks from block #1 (but rescan=0, checkblocks=1, checklevel=0) and when height was last downloaded block (in my situation it was 840k blocks, ~a month to download) downloading of blockchain was successfully started without big delays (because of connect= lines, this says to wallet to connect only to this peers [good peers with latest wallet and correct blockchain]). A few hours and blockchain is downloaded and i send my cent's to exchange.
About importprivkey - after each importprivkey wallet program is hanged. Each time. So i enter "importprivkey KEY Name", hang, wait ~minute, kill wallet process, restart wallet, wait for working gui, import new key, hang, wait, kill and so on till all keys imported.

I waited a few hours and all appeared , thank you very much for your honesty .
I got the key cent but can not get the coins in wallet, nothing happens after the command in the console. Can you help me? pennies_release-10.3.5
One thing that might be missing in the document is that you should execute "importprivkey" before downloading the whole blockchain (if you need to download it).
If not: you need to restart your wallet with the -rescan option. This may take a while.
As far as I remember importprivkey takes a third boolean argument which defaults to true. This third arguments tells the wallet to do a rescan (takes also a while).
Probably you need to call importprivkey
Or how already said: start the wallet with a -rescan argument.
Kindly note that you won't see your funds until the blockchain is fully downloaded. (Depends on the coin but that's certainly the case for CENT) CENT has around 900k blocks and it can take about 48 hours until the blockchain is fully downloaded.
Edit: In case that you're still downloading the blockchain and we're talking about CENT: you don't need to do anything right now. Just wait
The exchange engine was one of the best ones, such a shame to see this fall apart, I will let them keep the few alts I had there

They have closed the site but have started emailing customers private keys for the coins they have stored on the exchange. I can confirm I have been emailed private keys for some of the coins I had stored there.
They are gradually working through all the coins they had on the exchange, so the process will take some time. They explain everything in this tweet, and there is also a link to a document with a detailed explanation in that tweet.

Once you have been emailed a private key for a coin you had o their exchange you have to download and install its wallet. After you have synced it you can import the private key they emailed you into the wallet. After that your coins should show up in your wallet.

Only found out about this today, haven't received any emails from Swisscex regarding site problems or private keys, I have over 1 billion Cent on your site, the last email i received from anyone from Swisscex was February 2014, wtf

Well I'm screwed. I'm rebuilding bitcoin on BOTH computers it runs on, that'll probably take a month, so no private keys for me. I can't login to Swisscex.
And for crying out loud, they only told me that I had until the end of May to get my coins YESTERDAY. It looks like the site went down before I was told.

I've just had a nice surprise: Swisscex just sent me private keys for my LTC, POT and NOB balances.
Haven't actually tried to import the coins to a wallet yet, but this is a good sign.
Looks like they are doing their best to get balances out of Swisscex and back to accountholders.

CENT owners: You must be patient since we need to process them manually.
As soon as you got the keys transfer the coins to another adress.
