OK so ive resynced and added the privkey, now its saying i received the 430k sys on the 17th, and apparently sent it to some random address on the 18th. showing i have 0sys. please help i diddnt send it anywhere. please reply ive been waiting 3 days just to access my coins

That doesn't sound good. You downloaded new wallet, synced, got the same wallet.dat and it says you sent some coins somewhere else today?

Not sure I understand completely how that could have happened. Might need some more details or maybe someone else knows of a way to see if you can get them back. Usually once they are out of your wallet they are gone unless you sent them to another address you control.

At least I'm not a lone problem. There has to be some issue with windows wallet.

backup wallet.dat
delete entire syscoin folder in Appdata/roaming
run qt.

watch show.

come back.

Wallet Synced with 50+ connections

I have done that. That is the problem I'm facing.

EDIT

https://www.dropbox.com/s/hrroo6z08uppq05/syscoin.conf   <---- synced me

Just downloaded this after seeing your post and it did the trick for me too. After so many hours of frustration I just want to say thank you!!!

Digital Currency fanatic

I have to say I was really skeptical but the devs seem to have pulled it out of the fire.  Got 3 wallets up and sync'ed and humming along beautifully.

So, I am looking for some hope here:

Before the troubles started I had sent 762 SYS over to MintPal.  As it would seem they had taken down their wallet just after I hit send.  As best I can tell we were on a good chain so Im not worried there.

What is the likelihood that those coins will eventually make it to my MintPal deposit account when they bring the new wallet online? Or at least make their way back to my wallet?

Like I said Im looking for some hope here....  Ive seen in this thread where a few people are in the same boat. Are those coins lost to the ether?

Same here. I'm mining at a pool but can't send coins to my wallet since it refuses to sync.

Still no luck with windows wallet. Spent hours redoing same steps over and over and waiting 30+ minutes each time.

If anyone could post Linux terminal install directions for Ubuntu 14.04 (linux noob here) I would be ever so grateful.

Thank you in advance.

Same problem here, downloaded new Windows wallet (0.1.2) and STILL won't sync. "No block source available..." error.
So frustrating.

Excuse me

Import 2 different private key on the same wallet is not possible?

yes you can do that

Are you sure? Can Dan shed some light on this too just in case

I've done this numerous times. Running importprivkey on the target wallet can be done for as many keys as you like guaranteed. Every time you create a new address in the GUI it does pretty much that.

+1

Private keys are linked to addresses, not wallets. You can import as many as you want or need.

Also, conversely, your wallet balance may be spread over many addresses/private keys, and this can happen through the natural use of your wallet. That's why you need to keep regular backups of your wallet, not just your private keys.

I guess once all the market wallets and things are fixed confirmations will start again?Huh?

Yes we are waiting for markets to fully update their wallets. Bittrex knows and is working on it or complete just haven't reopened market yet. Mintpal should be posting some news soon- they are on a diff timezone. We have communicated everything to all exchanges. They should all be in #syspools IRC to follow the latest service-provider relevant news.

Also, we'll be on https://coingateway.net/ shortly! Use SYS anywhere BTC is accepted!!!  Shocked Shocked Shocked

Thanks Danosphere but I meant the confirmation for my Syscoin Wallet. Were you talking about that too?Huh
Thanks so much for the attention
