Me--waiting patiently.  Wink

Patience will be rewarded. A new client has been deployed to pools and we are stabilizing the network. The wallets for WIN/MAC will be posted shortly then everyone can start working on Syscoin together again, forks be gone!

Nice

Can somone give me the cliff notes of what happened here?  Way too long to read this entire thread, but i'm very curious.

Short version--the launch did not go as planned.  The devs asked for more time to make it right.

Some people--Famine!  Floods!  The horsemen of the apocalypse!  I'm gonna throw rocks at your momma!  I want my money back!  There's blood in the streets!  Everybody's gonna die!!!!!!!

Other people--for goodness sakes, calm down everybody.  Escrow still has the money and if the devs haven't delivered by Wednesday you'll get your money back.

Devs--We're trying!  Just be patient.

Other people in crypto--HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Syscoin sucks lemons!!!

Me--waiting patiently.  Wink

Haha, all wrapped up in a nut shell, all nice and neat:-)

Guys, give it to the devs.. This shit is not easy to fix. Especially with people screaming the word 'refund' and 'scam' all over the place. Imagine if you created a coin and you were so sure that it was gonna be a smooth launch. But one piece of code interacted poorly with another piece and before you knew it, the blockchain had forked. Would you shit yourslef, run off with the cash and laugh? Or would you stick around for THREE FUCKING DAYS and work non-stop to fix the issue. All the while being abused by people who had bought your product and who desperately want to ruin any hope of it working for you in the future from spreading lies and dis-information.

Point is. Shut the hell up until everything is sorted.

Ha! You must think you're addressing a reasonable crowd.

Internet users are never reasonable. Especially, people who believe their 1.2BTC makes them a 1337 trador..

tonight We all get this

Stop spamming the thread with your BS.  People might actually be looking for useful information.

I lost a shiload of btc on this I deserve to spam even your mom

How the hell did you lose already?Huh  You mean you sold during this shit storm while the value is down:-)  You are looking more and more like 4 instead of 44!

Im still bagholding but if the price is down from purchase eve 1% or 99% then is a loss do you know that? It doesnt look to going up from ICO price

If you are bagholding then you have lost nothing yet!  Of course it is down right now with all the problems.....you are certainly NOT helping yours or everyone else's chance it recovers.  You are only shooting yourself in the foot with your barrage of blabber.  You work hard at fucking things up and then complain they're fucked up.  Where the fuck is your logic and common sense man, you should have MUCH more of both at your age!!!

Jesus Christ........hold your bag, shut your mouth and wait for things to get resolved.  NOTHING else you can do to help the situation!

Thanks so much! Smiley

You just back up your wallet.dat to a safe place (ideally multiple safe places). It's found:

Windows: %APPROAM%\Syscoin
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Syscoin/
Linux: ~/.syscoin

As long as you keep that file as safe as you can you will be able to retrieve your funds. You can also run `dumpprivkey SysCoinAddressGoesHere` from the console window and securely record your private key for that address too. That means even if your wallet.dat gets corrupted, you can still access your funds by importing the keys into a new wallet. Bear in mind that you need to record the privkey for any address that contains funds to keep your coins safe.
