so when exactly is the launch?

Right now we're still looking at 5pm PST today. If that changes we will post immediately as soon as we know, but so far the only thing that has slipped is the soft launch which is mostly internal.

Countdown timer pls? Its 7:30PM in the uk ATM

I think PST is 8 hours behind the UK.  So that is midnight UK time.

Actually I'm confused now. I think it would be 1 am if they mean PDT rather than PST.  If they mean PST then it would be 2 am UK time.

1 AM Amsterdam time.

8pm PST (PDT right now...) is about 1a in UK, I'll try to get a countdown timer (I hate timezones!). Trying to tie off things with the wallet.

This should help in the interim:

Online since '89...

and so it begins....

can we please please have a smooth launch.

An so what begins?

If your talking responsible, professional consideration for the current holders and future users, I would say that actually began a long time ago. If your talking about good business sense and engineering form, again, I say it already has been proven. If your talking about anything else, well, please make your point clear...

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.
Important Announcement:

After large-scale regression and load testing we have identified a small issue with the certificates service. Because we are intent on delivering the best product possible we will be keeping this service (certificates) on the testnet ONLY until the issue is resolved. We are working diligently on this issue now and have been up all night trying to resolve. We do not want this to impact the launch, all other services are working as expected.

We will be working throughout the day/week to address this issue and once it is verified on the testnet we will release it on the main network. We will still be launching with all 4 services, the only service that will be in "beta" mode is the certificates which will be testnet-only until its deemed suitable to move to the main network which will be as soon as possible.

As always we're looking out for the what's best for the coin, investors, and the long term stability of the network. By keeping certificate services on the testnet it will allow a larger group of people to use, test, and provide feedback which may provide us additional insight into the fix. In the meantime devs and users can start building markets, storing data, and reserving aliases while we address the issue with certificate services.

Still planning to soft launch as scheduled, apologies if I'm unreachable I'm working with the team on these issues.

Keep calm, we're just keeping the community updated- as we always try our best to do. Just sit tight we (and Moolah) are all working very hard right now to get this baby out the door proper.

tl;dr

It wasn't that long and also lumamine has been offline for a while now.

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic, due to people's seeming inability to read before asking questions.

That makes sense, sometimes online sarcasm can be a bit hard to detect.
