Angel investor.
I don't care what other guys do, I will keep this coin until all functions works, then the market price will reflect its true value.

What! No more problems? C'mon, we need waves!! Grin

PS: BTW, good job devs! Also thanks for clarifying that this is your coin and not Moolah's. Tells me that the dev team has faith in its work, which is a good thing.

the features do work, we have discovered a bug in the GUI element of wallet for the offers page so we have removed it in this update.
as dano said its non-mandetory so you don't HAVE to install this update
and its only a temp fix so people can use the wallet until we fix it properly

in regards to refunds, why should they?
everything is working, we met their demands, at one point we NEVER said it would work in the GUI we added it to the GUI to create a better user experience which we have already agreed needs work.

If all you can bring is FUD then please go away.

Asking for a refund means FUD to you all .

You all failed with kittahcoin and same thing is happening with sys.

Sorry, but this is FUD. The fact is that the coin is working perfectly. Also, there is clear roadmap and you are guaranteed, that even if devs disappear (which won't happen), Moolah will continue to pay for coin's development for at least 6 months. So where is the problem? You are part of the coin that is one of the safetest investments in crypto now with almost guaranteed huge profits in the next few months. Look at the charts - people understand this and this is why almost noone is daytrading Sys (compare volume on the exchange to total number of coins). Only thing we might need now is even more publicity.

Rare to see common sense.

There is lack of common sense in most posts because people got used to fast profits and fasts losses. I don't get it - finally you have coin that will probably give you stable growth and you NO LONGER NEED TO WASTE TIME ON LOOKING AT THE PRICE EVERY FEW MINUTES. I guess some people got used to crypto pumps and dumps so much, that they would prefer refreshing the exchange every few minutes to monitor the price. Sorry, but that's not the way to do it with sycoin. You should just put the coins in the wallet, pour yourself a drink and forget that you have the coins. You will be really happy when in a few months you remind yourself about them. You know what? Believe me or not, but some time ago I decided to stop visting Mintpal to check the current price. Maybe it is 300 satoshi now, maybe it is 900 - I don't care, because what matters most is where it will be in a few months. Time is too precious to waste it on refreshing exchange all day and worrying about your investments, when there is nothing to worry about.

......
Where is the other one with those promised features?Huh
......

Just to be clear..
The features do work. It was always the plan that other integrators (and the Syscoin team) will over time develop services that use these decentralized features. That includes integrating a subset of these into the UI of the QT-Wallet. But the wallet was never meant to be THE interface for this. And this was never promised to be included in the QT-Wallet.

We have had a lot of issues with the initial release of the Windows wallet due to the attacks we were seeing on the Syscoin network.
Rather than wasting your time ( trying to get the wallet working ) and ours dealing with support in relations to those issues, we decided to disable the UI for the features in the windows wallet for now.
This was done to ensure that we have a functional wallet that allows the normal transactions without hanging and crashing.

These UI features will be re-enabled and expanded upon when we have had time to fully investigate why it it happening and fix it.
Its not feasible to be spending 90% of our time dealing with support in relation to Windows QT-Wallet issues.

Hope this clears it up a bit. The features can still be access using the Windows QT-wallet through the console.

We have issued another update for the 0.1.3 Windows wallet (non-mandatory).

but from now on download this one only:

Windows ZIP 0.1.3 (updated- interfaces for market and aliases have been removed to address the "doesn't show" issue): https://mega.co.nz/#!zFxHiLwR!OP6xg_5zZyh1mq5KdOwXw5LDbcLp-3b23WQIrA4ra2Q

Where is the other one with those promised features?Huh

Why ther link is missing because those three features never worked  .Moolah should return the funds or people will have negative trust on Moolah.Syscoin team always convinced us that those features were working and failure to do so will result a full refund.

People now a days are all scamming through lies.

Very Sad thing.

Guys, you need to put more emphasise on the PR. I've been following this thread closely, so I am quite up to date, but most people on various trollboxes seems to know nothing about this coin. We need to educate them. Taglines like "first coin with..." work.

We are doing the best we can to our ability at the moment, alot of time has been spilled into other areas - but we appreciated your comments as i know you have been nothing but supportive.

Education will come, trust me.  Wink

Is there a timeline to re-enable regenerated TX/service fees?  Mining is not profitable without them. 128SYS per block compared to 300-400SYS.

These upcoming weeks will be very important and determine the future of syscoin.

Best of luck to the dev team + everyone else!

Can anyone please tell me  why in new wallets the  interfaces for market and aliases has been removed???
did u see op? Wink

ok understood.

Qoute from danosphere.

In other news we have escalated the recent Windows test build to a release candidate and it is now available via the OP. It removed the interfaces for markets/aliases as they were causing issues loading for Windows only. The functionality in console is unchanged by this and this is a non-mandatory but probably helpful update. The Mac Wallet has not changed and retains market/alias tabs- haven't had any issues reports in this environment.

I know for a fact there are developers working on top of the Syscoin API to build markets right now they've been in IRC asking question about the flows. We also have an 80% complete boilerplate market using angularJS+nodeJS here -> https://github.com/syscoin/sysmarket and we have a quick connector for the JSON-RPC using NodeJS here -> https://github.com/syscoin/node-syscoin to jumpstart devs. We are working on our own market as well but are focusing on some core improvement and development process guidelines first as the team is growing quickly.

new account.. only commented on syscoin. Do I need to say more
says a guy who went through the posts to find dirt. Well done! need a chocolate for your efforts?
still less considering how incompetent devs have been, less talk and more work will surely might help with a working wallet.

You gotta love the optimism (or is it attempt to pump the price?) people on this thread. First they refused to listen to  how this was the worst release ever. Then once moolah took over, they went "oh yeah the release was bad but now moolah has taken over so all is good". If moolah ditches them, next it will be "yeah you moron "investors" deserved it for the optimism"/ Its nice that I have a looong list of people to add to my ignore list now -- any coin I see these idiots on goes to my junk box Smiley
says account with 8 posts, registered 3 days ago.. LOL
Yeah well if in bitcointalk world (or even in your mind), if number of posts = make sense, then devs of this coin would have been superman...ROFLMAO
"Its nice that I have a looong list of people to add to my ignore list now -- any coin I see these idiots on goes to my junk box"..this makes no sence to me according to your 3 day activity here, i don't insult your opinions btw, free speech ;-)
i have 0 people on ignore list...
In crypto space its difficult to see who can or cannot be trusted. If you have a handy template of people who cannot be trusted you can weed them out effectively. So thats the "sence" "sense" you were looking for.

The new Mac wallet is not syncing, any ideas, I used chrome browser.

Give this peers.dat a shot I use it since it seems to always work for me at least - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/25508862/peers.dat

yes as per your instructions

aliasnew "/d/GOLD.bit"

then get error code

Error Code -4 means you have insufficient funds to activate an alias. We are aware that the user experience here could be improved and will prioritize it. In function most developers will be leveraging APIs that are currently being called directly by end users to first see if an alias is available [aliasfilter/aliasscan], then call new+activate if the appropriate funds are available and the alias is also available. Developers could then earn a small fee for providing this and of course a web based (or otherwise) user experience for end users.

This may have been addressed earlier...

I created an Alias on a previous version of the wallet.

After deleting all but my wallet.dat to use the new wallet my alias has disappeared.

Any way to get it back?

Thanks

Are you not seeing it in the wallet interface? If you go to console and type "aliaslist" what do you see? Should be there via console but pls let us know if not.

so since people are mad [i also used to be] can devs finally use funds to raise the price?!

I think they still ahven't received any.. They're waiting on Moolah to give the Ok to give like 200BTCs.. Doubt they'll raise the price now. Free markets do as they wish.

This is true, we haven't received any funds yet.

Hopefully a dev or the syscoin team can get a web site up with the market place. More coins are launching their market place over next weeks using OpenBazaar. They have lower coin count, lower market cap, can get more attention to their coin when price goes up. Of course this coin is more long term and directed towards serious people and not just price chasers. So take your time and do it right but make sure you have something out soon for people to use and list things for sale.
