I think he meant promoting the hell out of it. That's how crypto works - people need to have something looking for and new features being actively promoted or the price will plummet. Look at xcloud coin - technically inferior to sys but more successful.

No, as I already have 0.1.3 and I can´t find it possible to have 2 different versions of same version, as its against all principles of coding. Furthermore there is notice "not mandatory", so if it will fix this major issue, it should be mandatory.

Well we just wanted it out there fast for people who are seeing the issues. If somebody wants to keep the extra functionality then they are free to do so.. (This was specific to windows)
We will release a proper labeled upgrade with other fixes soon enough.

I understand this is for incremental testing purposes. Just saying, that's where things stand at this point - basic/generic wallet functions are ok now, but a full "SYS wallet" with special features available via a user-friendly UI is not in place.

It was always the plan that other integrators (and the Syscoin team) will over time develop services that use these decentralized features. That includes integrating a subset of these into the UI of the QT-Wallet. But the wallet was never meant to be THE interface for this.

We already have code for the marketplace so it can be integrated on a website. Its basic, but will form a base for further development.
Other developers (Not on the Syscoin team) are also working on similar services using the core Syscoin tech. Its happening peps.

I don't fully understand the technical distinctions snipsnoop is making in his latest post update, but it sounds to me like the wallet still isn't fully functional and might not be for some time. By functional, I mean something the average person can use without having to be a technical person comfortable with a DOS-like console.

At the moment the Windows QT wallet works like any other Qt-Wallet out there.. Yes, we are planning to put in (back in) extra functionality, but for the moment to remain stable we are leaving this out.
