so many investor lost theirs money , but only winner is syscoin and Moolah,   as  they said ,they are partner , lol.....moolah's credit is broken ,but he got money.

The only "investors" (in quotations because these people weren't investors at all, they were just people who were hoping to dump their IPO position for a nice return as soon as the coin was launched) who lost money are the ones who were dumb enough to sell during the initial bumpy FUD phase... if you are so short-sighted to only care about the initial price right after the coin launches and to think that a bumpy start is the end to this coin and that it won't recover, than you deserve to have sold at a lost.

I am glad all the fucktards with this outlook are already out.

I would say out of all the coins people are losing money on this is one of the better coins that people won't mind holding for a bit. Price is around 500 sat and most people bought in at 465 and 518. Some bought higher so as we go up there will be some sell pressure but it's not like people are bagholding coins from above 1000 sat so once the price gets up there it's smooth sailing.

How does anyone lose money unless they panic sold?  Coin is still at phase 2 ipo price.

Why does the wallet need an administrator password for run? I hope you will fix it in the next version.
Previous version of the wallet and other my wallets run successfully without requesting administrator rights.

From exe:
Code:
~snip~

Isn't this dangerous? I'm no techie, but this gives executables elevated privileges to your entire system:

"Administrative rights give users the ability to read and modify any part of the operating system, including the code and data of other users—and even Windows itself. Without administrative rights users cannot accidentally (or deliberately) modify system settings, malware can’t alter system security settings or disable antivirus software, and users can’t compromise the sensitive information of other users on shared computers." http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.06.uac.aspx

Meaning - your system is wide open to the program. Surely this wallet doesn't require admin rights... I don't believe it. Even if SYS isn't a scam, you've (those who ran this) effectively let scammers know that there are plenty of fools just waiting to be taken.

Here's a scenario - this is what you've done:

Download my file - giving me FULL admin rights to do anything on your computer. I'll just install few .dlls and apply a reg setting or two to make it damn near impossible for you to uninstall my real program. It only took a couple of lines of code in a script you didn't even know is now part of your operating system files, and I'll still have the master access key even after you think you've uninstalled my program. But it's not like my transparent logger emails me your nude pics or anything, I'm just crawl around for usernames and passwords... for every site you visit. But no worries - I don't plan to hit you all at once; there's no need. Remember, you gave me administrative rights to your system... so I control your antivirus programs. I determine which security updates are installed. And just to show my appreciation for you giving me full rights to administer your system, my program will continue to roam your computer even long after you've left this scene. Satisfied now?

Syscoin is entirely independent from Moolah. They are our valued partner and we are working with them closely but we are autonomous. Wanted to clarify this point as some people were saying Moolah had taken over Syscoin- this is not the case. We are discussing long term partnerships with them involving and related to the presale BTC and will issue a statement once complete. Syscoin is going to be successful and we're both committed to seeing that through.

Notice: In the interest of current and future investors, we will be locking this thread in the next day or two and moving to a new thread with more clear information about Syscoin, its roadmap, team, how to get help, etc. This thread has just gotten too long. This will remain open for now until we have the new thread ready. We will backlink this thread from the new one for transparency. Thanks.

Now that stuff is up and running right we want to have a clean thread.

Cheers Dev. This thread is WAY overdue to be nuked lol. I'm looking forward to the new thread with clear goals, faq etc Smiley

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.
If I decide to bet 0.1 BTC that this coin won't get back to 700 satoshi this year will Moolah escrow me? I am serious about this.

Betting 5 Bitcoin on top of your 0.1 BTC.

Betting 100BTC that there's one person behind most of these troll accounts.

You would lose 100BTC, a lot of shaky investors that had a lot of hope in this coin, and backed by Lord-Moolah himself put a lot of faith into the investment. I thought it was a rushed/overpriced NEM so I avoided the IPO. Dodged a bullet but really feel sorry for all those that had so much faith. Good luck everyone.

You guys can easily do this over at https://www.betmoose.com/bets - send it to the dev and have him act as the 'Yes' bet to incentivize him Wink

^^ Great idea, we have wasted a lot of time on FUD Tongue but we should have funding here in the next day once the discussion with Moolah is complete.

Thank you- this is a good question. The win QT build was moved to QT5 in these latest builds and maybe in that transition the contributor missed something or this was added by accident. We will address this, test and reissue a binary ASAP.

+1 for DEV Syscoin Moolahcoin now have future,:-):-):-)

Hi everyone. Having a little trouble w/ the wallet. I deleted v1.2, installed 1.3 but even though I used app cleaner and deleted all the library files, whenever I re-install it synchs to the wrong chain. I know I'm not deleting all the necessary files b/c when I reinstall the wallet it knows how many SYS I have w/out importing my backup wallet. Any help would be appreciated.

If you ever installed using the windows installer you have to uninstall all versions before 1.3 and not just deleting the files it creates.

Oh, sorry should've mentioned I'm on OSX 10.9.4

So you go to Home-->Library-->Application Support and delete the whole Syscoin folder (after backing up the wallet.dat)?

Did that. Also to made sure to delete everything in app cleaner when I was removing it.

This is going to sound silly, but after deleting the Syscoin icon in Applications I also delete the dmg download.  Then I restart my computer, download the wallet again, start the wallet and once it starts to sync I replace the wallet.dat.  That works for me.  Maybe you could try it.  No harm, right?
that's right. that will work

So I tried this as well.  Maybe I'm just a noob.  I deleted everything with app cleaner after restarted the computer and redownloaded the wallet.  It says that it is stuck on block 5164.  So I'm still on the old block chain, correct?  How do I make it connect to the new block chain?

When I synced I hung up on that block for a second too. After a few minutes it sorted itself out and I synced up. *shrug*

There were some fee fixes around then so most clients are running without those fixes but latest clients have the fixes so if you have latest client it has to wait to download from the new clients or it will hang around waiting be ause it cant accept the block(requires a fee when it shouldnt)

I got it!  Thanks for all your help guys.  Much appreciated.

WARNING: I say "F*CK". A Lot.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not going to keep changing my shortcut properties as a kludge for the thing to work. I'll wait until it can simply run proper without -salvagewallet -reindex no need for administrator priviledges no having to kill the process or nuke the Syscoin folder.

I'd much rather see the problem located and actually fixed.

Run it with -reindex for now and it should work.
