I really like where this coin is going.
Thanks! I wish! Team still has dayjobs as we'd have to sell a significant amount of SYS to offset our salaries, we're all professionals in our respective fields. There is no way we'd sell the amount needed to offset our salaries, not at these prices. So for the moment we're still working dual jobs during the day and then spending 2-6hrs a night on Syscoin after work (we're committed!).
We typically don't put together linux builds since most people running linux know how to build from source and generally have to change some things depending on ubuntu/centos/etc and version too. Do you know how to build from source?
If not we can put together a linux distro but because we are very much focused on packaging and testing the next beta release as well as working with additional potential partners, talking to merchants, and prepping marketing materials any linux build would be lower priority at the moment. If you want to try building for linux in the interim this is the code you'll want to run (for testnet) - https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin2/archive/2.0b1.zip if you're trying to build the mainnet wallet v1.5.1.1 you'll want to use this - https://github.com/syscoin/syscoin/archive/1.5.1.1.zip.
Will try to build the linux wallet for ya soon as we can though! Might be able to get it together before the weekend
I can build from source. I'll look in your /syscoin2 git for what I need.
Awesome! Just make sure you use the source from the zips as the branch code is now updated and wont work on the public beta testnet. The master branch of /syscoin will work on mainnet. Any questions just ask here or pop in Slack.
