Sry, but i am out. I converted like 0.15 BTC into  SYS at 350 Sat, hoping they will pump or  regulate the price with their impressive 1K BTC. But the price is constantly falling, i know it is hard to exit with 20 % loss, but it is even harder to  lose 50 or 70%.

Bye bye

It's been said couple of times now: SYS is NOT made to be a typical pump'n'dump coin like 99% off all recent scam coins that came out.
The 1k BTC is used for development and business growth, not for beneficiary actions for profit hungry short term investors

Right now the RoadMap does not contain SuperNet for a reason.

SYS has it's own superior features that will also be presented again in the wallet in the next release, which should thrive more attention to it.
It may still be something considerable for the future, but definitely nothing short- or medium term.

I agree its not a scam at least not from the looks of it- and it is very technical. SuperNET is not a coin itself per se but a network of coins which can then leverage each other's features. The question for Syscoin is whether or not the coins that are part of this network provide enough additional value to merit Syscoin joining the network and "sharing" its features with all these other coins. We are watching the progression of the SuperNET project, and will continue to monitor as other coins join this network and re-evaluate the possibility of Syscoin joining as well. Right now its just NXT, BTCD and BBR.

If Syscoin join in SuperNET, it will change the view of some guys on Sys, they are not optimistic on Sys since it doesn't have a good start, joining in SuperNET is a good shot to change these guys' view, I bet if Sys join in the SuperNET, price will go up to 1000 sat.

Politely STFU about that SuperNET crap. Its been discussed before and it'll never happen.

I know one thing .
The price hit the bottom .
From here it will only go up .
Remember that tomorrow the promoting campaign will start and on 21 sept. we will have a new wallet release .
So grab your chances and buy it cheap will you still can . If not , you will be sorry later .
That's just my opinion .

Surely you realize that adding Syscoin to SuperNET will bring amazing value to Syscoin, as it will increase its exposure and user-base beyond what it could attain by itself in both the short and long term?
Such a coalition of coins representing a wide gamut of useful technologies has a much higher chance of surviving and becoming a meaningful force in the crypto world than going at it by yourself.

Syscoin has a lot to offer to that network and I think it's a no-brainer for you to want to take part in it.

I haven't read all the details on it, but I would be a bit cautious as you will have to work out how much value it would actually bring to  syscoin in the long run, as it seems to be set up to add lots of value to nxt and btcd and maybe not so much value to the other coins.  great idea to bring value to their coin, may not bring as much value to syscoin. would need further investigation on how it would all work before jumping in

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.
Roadmap is professional and I would say nicely timed. But delivering without delay would be priority. By the end of october SYS will be very healthy both with tech and price I think.

Already recruiting for the promo as slated on the roadmap started one promoter today actually should see some results very soon. Additionally we may have another release ahead of 0.1.5 (advancing all the numbers on the roadmap) just tested the feature now  Grin works great and is unique to SYS.

Want to market it right and all that so not spilling too much at the moment. Just that we're continuing with the Promo campaign as scheduled and rather than it being generic we'll have a new release to go along with it!

Not sure why people feel block rewards are too high- 128SYS per block is quite low and that is the "highest" reward. Yes, there are regenerated service fees as well but these aren't new coins.

While features of the coin are cool and may yield strength, the basic laws of supply and demand dictate value at the exchange, a surplus will yield a lower price where as shortage will yield the opposite.

According to http://coinmarketcap.com/
Marketcap-wise, SYS around the time of the ICO was valued around or above the current market caps of Storj, Boolberry, NEM, Shadowcoin, Stealthcoin and Crypti - most of these coins have teams with long-running, well-recieved and/or well-established street cred, prototypes, coin launches and/or interfaces. Post-launch, SYS is now valued at the levels of dying or defunct coins like Ixcoin, Anoncoin and Unobtanium and above the level of new upstarts like SocialXbot and Neos. If the market's wrong in its re-valuation of SYS, it's simply a buying opportunity. If it's right, the decline is a correction from previous overvaluation.

You are exactly right, but the problem is that the basic laws of supply and demand have revalued the coin through human nature and  oversight of it's designers.  Good tech staff is a must-they got it, rapid response to failure is just as much so, but the basic plan has to sustain the market.  Clearly that hasn't happened here as the value of it has done nothing but fallen.  To put out a currency requires eyes wide open and capable of seeing around corners.  That is not something we have today and exactly the reasoning we have not built anything that can stand the test of time since the Mason's were outed by the mob a 100 years ago.  Do the math, there were some things that were far more solid long ago before power transitioned, just the way it is with what was lost.  Maybe a payout to the mob or the catholic church will help.

I hope so - I was in on the IPO and hate to see my investment at half it's original value then I went through hell for two week with their first wallet trying to keep my pool up and running though all the problems... and now I;m sitting on a lot of these coisn and hope they'll rise in value but history has shown that gravity's a bitch when it comes to coin values.

Syscoin- Changing the way people do business.
nice progress with website, price is fckd up (i better don't check Grin)..devs can you start a poll about joining to SuperNET? (if possible)

I don't personally know much about it, but it seems many are saying SuperNet is a big scam.

Not likely mate, good well respected people behind it. Seems everything associated with crypto-currency gets the scam moniker sooner or later deservedly or not...

as well every 1 keep going on about PR..why you doing pr. when wallet not even finished yet before you ask companies to use syscoin the wallet need tweaking up and much easier to use as well..need all symbols on wallet you click on that symbol and takes you straight to new platform or website..plus we need videochat on wallet as well..sort that out ..if i was a company i would be scratching my head how to use the wallet..so no pr till wallet is user friendly..don,t waste bitcoin on PR if not user friendly..

We are not adding video chat to the wallet. The roadmap clearly identifies the next wallet updates (0.1.5 - marketplace).

Hi installed 1.3 version wallet a while back and while it was downloading the chain, i sent coin to receive address, but the damn wallet keeps getting stuck on 10 days left to download, i tried some help commands like repair ect. Still stuck hung at 10 days.

If i install the latest wallet will it just replace the old one but leave my deposit/receive address as it is, so the coins will end up there?. any help much appreciated.

not gonna panic just yet !.

You are on an outdated version of the wallet, and a mandatory update was released a few weeks ago. Please download the latest wallet - 0.1.4C available in the OP and on the website. Please delete all of your local data related to Syscoin, backup your wallet.dat, uninstall the current wallet (if you are on windows and used an installer), empty your recycling bin, and then restart the new 0.1.4C wallet.

It will take a moment to sync and then you should be all set. Please note 0.1.4C was a mandatory wallet update - so using 0.1.3 you will never fully sync.

Hope that helps! Please join us on the Syscoin Forums http://syscoin.org/board for faster answers  Smiley

For those talking about PR - please see our roadmap.
