EDIT: v1.4c has fixed this problem.  Thanks to the devs who worked with me to get this fixed.


Anyone else unable to stop and restart the daemon without wiping and re-downloading the entire blockchain?

Running v8.6.3 with the latest updates.  When I try to start the daemon, this is the error I get in debug.log.

I have tried to re-download 3 times and still the same result... once the daemon is stopped, I cannot get it running again.

You Dont need to fill in more than once, but i appreciate you doing so as not having a response. It's automatically added into a Google Documents spreadsheet so it's not an email response you would get - Should have really communicated. Yes we are! One minor hiccup we are aware of (and added to OP for now) is a warning some may encounter when reopening the wallet regarding a chain database error. Closing and reopening the wallet will remedy the issue if you encounter it.

We've already released a fix to github. We'll release updated binaries within 24hrs. No version update for this small patch.
