Think I figured out the issue along with some help Smiley  Seems memory could be the problem.  This rig only has 8gb of Ram.  When I increase page filing to 65,000 I saw good improvements.  Instead of the other 5 GPU's all being below 5Mh/s now it's only 1.

*Edit*
Scratch that.  Thought the page file might have fixed it however getting same results as I let it run :/

Good evening.  I've made the switch on my AMD rig over to using TeamRedMiner but have a question.  I am mining turtlecoin / Chukwa  and on this rig I only want 1 gpu mining this algo, not the entire rig.  If I do the following in my bat file  (windows 10)

Code:
teamredminer.exe -a trtl_chukwa -o stratum+tcp://turtle.miner.rocks:5005 -u Wallet_Address -p w=AMD-Rig01 -d 5

This sort of works as it'll select GPU 5 and mine with it.  However the problem I then have is my other gpus on a ethash algo are only getting 1.8 Mh/s.  The Rig is a 6 GPU RX 470 rig.  However when I kill TeamRedMiner then the hashrates on ethash jumps back up to 30Mh/s.  Somehow the miner is interfering with the other GPU's. And not sure if I missed a step in my bat file.  Smiley  I am using TeamRedMiner v0.6.1

Suggestions?

Appreciate the help.

Hmm... We shouldn't be interfering with the other gpus for anything at all after the discovery phase. One thing is cpu usage though, I know we're a little (unnecessarily) high for chukwa specifically.

After starting both miners, can you open the Task Manager, go to the Details tab, select teamredminer.exe running chukwa, right-click it, set process priority to below normal or low. Does anything change?

Not having any high CPU usage though.  I've taken a few screen shots for reference.

This screen shot is with 5 of the 6 gpu's mining Callisto and getting their proper hash rates.  https://ibb.co/MGCfJrD

This screen shot is when I launch TeamRedMiner using the 6th gpu to mine turtle coin and the affects it's having on my other miner. https://ibb.co/vmcgZGG

You can see where out of the 5 GPU's mining Callisto, one of them remains at 30 Mh/s, the other 4 all drop below 5Mh/s and I can't figure out what's causing it.  Only occurs with TeamRedMiner running on turtlecoin.

This screen shot is of task manager with the apps details.   https://ibb.co/BP4Cbqv

hi,

how is ETH performance of this miner compared to claymore and pheonix ?

thanks

For Polaris cards, the competition is tough, but we most often come out on top. We've already established that Phoenix adds +3% and Claymore ~1.5% in their displayed hashrates though (although to be fair I haven't published the tests made by 3rd parties yet) so it's also a factor what hashrates you choose to believe in for the comparisons. As I say to everyone, don't take my word for it, run our published testing tool to verify our claims instead. The issue is that you will be mining air when running the tests. When I have the time I'll rebuild our tester tool into a low-diff sampling proxy instead so people still can be mining just like usual but also get a MUCH better measure of the true poolside miner hashrate and the claims above it should be evident for everyone.

For Vegas, and especially V56 Hynix and VIIs, I believe it's not really a close call and we outperform the other miners in a more distinct way.

All this said, unless you take the time to tune for TRM, you won't be realizing the full potential. We usually can take a lower voltage while remaining stable, and many times we need a little bit more core clk to reach max speed. It varies though, there's no trivial optimal formula that works for all rigs unfortunately. Feel free to come join our discord where there are many more users to ask and also published tuning examples.

Cheers, K

Does anyone have exatly this card? How it's?
yes in hynix, cool t ° with 3 fans, and very silent. 1 year mining without worries.
Only concern is hynix and cannot exceed 950 Mhz .
Édit = no it is the model arez strix oc of memory I do not have the card under my eyes. sorry.

Hi  I need to before mine,  disable\enable all gpus , You mentioned this feature in version 4.4 onwards

How to activate it?

my config is:

-d 0,1,2 -o stratum+tcp://turtlecoin.herominers.com:10382 -u wallet address -p name -a trtl_chukwa --api_listen

Here is for Vega gpu put in .bat (watch out for proper path) and put devcon.exe to that folder:
"C:\TEAMREDMINER\Devcon.exe" disable "PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_687F"
timeout /t 3

"C:\TEAMREDMINER\Devcon.exe" enable "PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_687F"
timeout /t 3

How to apply an automatically saved profile?

example.
I have an ETH.xml profile file
How do I run AMDMemoryTweak so that it applies this profile at startup?
I tried to run through the bat file.
like this
AMDMemoryTweak.exe --ETH.xml

does not work.

to be
AMDMemoryTweak.exe ETH.xml

does not work.

how to run correctly Huh

Tell me please.
 Huh

Use a .bat file instead. Something like:

Hey dear dev. any update for amd navi's? other miners have some grin 31 and mtp kernels for navis.

Ongoing disappointment yeah... Like I've said in our discord a few times, after xmas we have to reconsider waiting for a few 3rd party tools we need for our build system to add proper Navi support. Not much happening right now Undecided.

Hi! I hear what you're saying, but I still don't have a solution for you, it's not our product. The AMDMemoryTweak tool thread is your best shot, and I know you've asked there as well.

Afaik the (non-XL) version of the GUI is just a wrapper around WinAMDTweak.exe but maybe there's something else as well. Since it's closed source we don't know. It doesn't response to /?, --help or any other standard call, it just opens the gui.

thanks. I understand you.
I found a solution to the problem.

The latest version of amdmemorytweak, it does not work for me.
This version does not work https://github.com/Eliovp/amdmemorytweak/releases/tag/0.1.9.1

if you take the version for May 21, everything works.
maybe someone will come in handy.
here is the working version https://github.com/Eliovp/amdmemorytweak/releases/tag/0.1.8.1

VEGA56 Samsung
51Mh/s
1151 core, 958 memory, 801mV everywhere
--eth_config = A840 --eth_stratum_mode = ethproxy
--rc 38 --rcdrd 11 --rcdwr 5 --rp 10 --faw 12 --RRDL 3 --rtp 4 --ref 55000

Nice, happy you found a version that worked for you!

Hello,
Which driver do you recommand for ETH ?
I'm still using 18.6.1 and I get 49mh/s sir ref vega 56 with 64 BIOS and your settings

I've done most of my own tests with 18.6.1, but very recent drivers have also been working just fine for people. It doesn't matter much for ethash tbh, but if you want to do e.g. some C31 mining for grin, the newer win drivers is a must, makes a huge difference. Personally, I don't like the fan curve handling in more recent drivers though.

Hello. I started using TRM 0.61, Polaris. I really like the average hashrate, but I use a specific pool and get periodic errors and reboots. Help please. Here are some log data.
