If you want to hear about successful recent orders from Technobit that we're not part of a group buy then please see my previous posts. All of my orders where through technobit.eu with paypal as the payment. Every order was delivered within the given time frame or sooner. Yes, some of my orders came sooner than promised.

I am a repeat customer of Technobit and am completely satisfied with the service and the products.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=564612.40

Haters gonna hate.

To start, I was once a doubter because of negative feedback i'd seen about Marto74 and Technobit. However, I gave them a chance and found my experience to be nothing like the ones being posted. I've received every order from technobit (marto74) within the established time frame given at the point of purchase. More so, I've received every chip assembly order in half the time initially stated (as in received within 2 weeks instead of 4).

One of the easiest ways to see why technobit (marto74) is a trustworthy company is the fact that they are still offering paypal as a payment option. PayPal drops the majority of companies that are involved with bitcoin because of the risk and the non-delivery of goods. If technobit was not a good business, then paypal would have dropped them a long time ago. In addition, I've never been charged a membership fee to discuss future technobit products. Call me crazy, but I'd rather not pay a fee to discuss fairy tales.

If you want a company that will under promise and over deliever, then technobit is a good choice for you. If you want to chase possibilities that never come to fruition, then look somewhere else. Finally, marto74 is a genuine pleasure to do business with.

I've given technobit a lot of business because of the quality products, the timely delieveries, and the consistency of products. If a company is going to design a miner based on someonelses chips, then my bet is on technobit because they have a proven track record of accomplishing it.

What other company offers the the same variety of various chip manufacturers miners as technobit does? How many of those companies have actually delievered a working product as quickly as technobit can? Which of those companies only sells the number of products they have, instead of offering endless limitless preorders? If you like working products, consistent delivery, and an honest business, then Technobit is the choice for you.

Hi marto74
I´m having issues with the Hex16B, I tried in raspberry, after less than one minute, the miner fails, and another created (hexb0, hexb1, hexb2  and moooooore) then, I try in win7 x64 with hexminer, allways the programs fall in to error and windows show a dialog to close the program, if I let stay here, it continues to mine, but at regular intervals, the Hex16B recicles itself (same as raspberry).
The buy a MR3020, flashed with your firmware, and.... the same, at regular intervals, one new hex created because the precedent appears as ZOMBIE, I´m running it in a new PSU (Tuniq Potency 550W) checked the voltages, and never dropped of 12V, tried in 900mV, 1000mV, and all the ways, the same result, tried directly to he USB port, and attached to a powered HUB.
I´m doing wrong? or anything in the miner is faulty?? thanks for the reply
I received it this last week

Just send it back for RMA

Can you PM me? i want to try one thing...

Describe or show us a photo of your setup.

Do you have multiple miners on a USB hub and multiple power supplies? Try running it connect directly to the TP-Link. I had a similar problem using 2 hubs and 2 PSUs to run 6x Hex16b into one TP-Link.
See: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4642613

With TP-LINK, direct connect, via USB HUB, 3 different PSU, With Raspberry, direct connect, 3 different PSU, With Windows 7 x64, XP 32, 4 different PSU (in all the cases 2 are new), the result is the same, in less than one minute, the miner stop hashing, recicle power itself (or appears), and again...
In HEXminer, the last chip 0x16 always shows zero, in cgminer stats (tp link) the same log, 0 nonces etc....
After disabling that chip, Hex16B becomes stable with the three controllers mentioned earlier.
I´m sending today for RMA, for me it´s almost obvious that one chip is dead from the begining.

Sup.

My hex16b v2 arrived on the 10th from the 8th dispatch batch and since then I have been running it for 15 hours a day every day and it has been working perfectly. The only reason it isn't on 24/7 is its getting power from my noisy gaming rig, and I cant sleep with it on.

Currently have it on a TPLink with the 0.3.1 firmware. As I have just mentioned in 2GOOD's review, to get the 60GH/s out of the board on the TPLink the core voltage needs to be upped to 1000mV from the TPLink's default 900mV.

It has been working well whenever it has been turned on, it arrived speedily and was well packaged, and it was reasonably priced.
I am impressed.

Thanks for putting out this board marto.

Did these miners just got more expensieve since the A3 are online?

No. 169EUR because it will ship in 48 hour after payment.

But the 149 option is gone. I guess because it was cheaper to buy 2 16B and have more GH/s then with the new A3 board...

Yup, 149EUR no longer available.

I am not sure the cause, you can ask marto  Cheesy

API running in local read Access mode on port 4028 (9)

Whats wrong? I starting cgminer so:
sudo ./cgminer -c cgminer.conf --hexminerb-options 16:540 --hexminerb-voltage 1000 --set_default_to_b

All good, nothing wrong. One of your cgminer.conf must be like this:

Code:
"api-allow" : "R:127.0.0.1",

If you want to enable write capability just change R to W.
Code:
"api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1",

or want to add another address
Code:
"api-allow" : "R:127.0.0.1,192.168.0.155",

If you want to use cgminer.conf that located on cgminer folder, then use command
Code:
sudo ./cgminer --config cgminer.conf

I ordered 2 of these and I received them today, I got them hooked up to a Raspberry Pi running Minepeon and I compiled in the patch of the cgminer as supplied on the download page.

And then I used these to set it up (Commands are in English, rest in German don't have to know German to understand the guide):
http://sven-goessling.de/14/12/2013/der-40ghs-hex16b-bitfury-asic-bitcoin-miner-auf-dem-raspberry-pi-14-12-13/

And the first post image of this thread listed the voltage setting set to 1000 rather than 900 as listed on the post above so I adjusted that and they run at an average of 62.5GH/s each now. I have no plans to adjust them higher than this.

Running it without any adjustments at all it gave about 40-45GH/s each.
I have a lot of computers around so I cant hear these fans at all, I can hear a slight hissing if I move closer to them however but for me that isn't a problem.

Cheers marto74!

Hi,

PLEASE I NEED HELP. I can't set up my new bitfury v2 on windows 7, HEXMINER says new proxy available please update. And clean_jobs FALSE What am I supposed to do ?

New proxy is available on slush pool webpage to download http://mining.bitcoin.cz/media/download/mining_proxy.exe

But recently our friend 2GOOD compile cgminer for windows with technobit support, you may want to try it: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cgminer-windows-build-for-technobits-boards-569689

Same Here, can't help with hexminer, never got anything working on that thing. Only TpLink and raspi's here.
TpLink is cheap and technobit miners are just plug&play with their firmware.

On the website you state "If you don't have the budget for a large number of chips, overclocking is the best option, as it will get you 60 GH/sec out of a card ".

So, what is the default speed without overclocking?
The old hex16b (bitfury v1) worked on minepeon with a recompiled version of cgminer.
But the tp link router is better and cheaper IMO.

Any info on the hash speed? Is 60Gh/s the max overclocked potential, or the starting point?

60GH is the minimum expected hash delivered. You might have boards that can overclock further with more power and cooling at your own risk.

All the previous 40GH Hex16B I ordered ran 42-46GH stock clocks. I never tried pushing them, I just replaced the fans with quieter ones, they ran very cool.

Ok, but I already have a raspi running minepeon, and a spare raspi doing nothing at the moment. So I would prefer to use that.

My order is XNZITCWXQ of 2013-11-22 of 725,00 € with status hold to "Payment accepted" for long time...
LOL, now, with same money I can buy 260 GH/s or better on CEX.io more than this.
So, meanwhile , you keep my money for 5 months plus I lost mining for this period.
For you this is normally ? not scam ? never shipped, never reply ...isn't yet time to refund me ?

I checked it
We missed it sorry.
What you prefer refund or 260 ghs ?

Lol, I choose refund through paypal or BTC 1Nxj1mZvh3aGRUUjRopRgea7gea46KgRbV
Easy and fast way.
Thanks

Lol, I thought "fast way.." ... Marto ? Have you forgot me again ?

Hello Marto,

can you write more technical Details when you tested a unit well?
How many voltage i must give to the Chips like this for the hexa2:
•1000/0900mV ~24W - 15.86GH/s - 1.51W/GH (less than 1% HW)
•1300/1020mV ~56W - 20.30GH/s - 2.76W/GH (less than 2% HW)
•1500/1120mV ~92W - 22.85GH/s - 4.03W/GH (less than 2% HW)
•1600/1160mV ~108W - 24.15GH/s - 4.47W/GH (less than 3% HW) - hot

This i Need to run with cgminer.

Standard is the 2pol Connection to the board right?

Thank you!

Got 16 chips coming today, and another 48 will soon follow.

If anyone else is looking for smaller quantities of chips, then you should check out BitcoinValet's group buy.

BitcoinValet has a BF 2 chip Group Buy. I bought from his first group and am definitely getting in on this one as well. The 16 chips I have aren't enough to satisfy my need for speed. I'll need more chips for that.

Assembly service for hex16b 60 GHs with Bitfury rev.2 is available in our site now.
The change now is that you have to provide tracking info for your chips with the order.

Im confused. So when you buy this, is it plug and play or there must be further asembly? The information I've gathered here contradicts what is on the website.

You need a PC Power Supply to power it, last ones were sent out with Molex connectors on, but previous ones have had cable screws for the black/yellow cables.

You need a PC to run cgminer (linux) or hexminer (windows) on, but it's recommended to use the TP-Link TL-3020 router as a 2Watt Linux PC, there is firmware on their web site that installs everything you need.

Are you going to offer assembly service for the rev.2 chips? I have some that need a good home.
Same question here...
After all the mad posting here from people ordered assembly service by mistake and then bashing us trough forums with BIG red letters
WE decided to make assembly service only by personal arrangment

Marto, is that 189euro board and chips assembled?

As it says on the web page..

"Full assembled miner including PCB, 16 Bitfury chips, all components, assembly and testing, hestsink and fan."

Nice, any pictures yet?

It looks exactly like a Hex16B I suspect. Same 55nm chip package just 25% more hash on Bitfury v2. Wink
