Does anybody have some inside information about this ICO? Looking forward to participate. Or it was just rumor not really news.

In what coins would this ICO run? Would it be like EOS you buy an Ethereum token and swap it when the native network is ready?

I know that Pavel will make a good currency with anonymous transactions. But I dont know if I can make xxx on this coin, cause all the world will try to participate in this ICO, so... need to think again...

Many people are talking about ICO for Telegram. Do you really think that such ICO with huge userbase may be an industry changer and compete with ETH, for example?
If telegram runs ICO it may show the world that crypto is taken seriously, and can be a cryptoleader in communication industry. But I am not sure that TON may become smthng similar to ETH.

Participation in this ICO is just a great chance to help the developers team to release an even better app messenger. I use this app messenger and am very pleased.

Telegram is great but still have few flawed so your project could have a chance.

I stopped seeing Telegram as Mecca of Security and Freedom.

I used to, but not anymore,  there are contradictions.

Everybody perceives Telegram as open source project -  but in fact it is really NOT an open source project.
The core of Telegram, its backend - is a closed source proprietary project, which will never be open sourced and revealed. Only the Frontend clients (web, Android, iOS, etc.)  are opensourced, but it's not enough to be sure that your data is secure.

One of the tech leads of VK, and later telegram engineer and insider    -   revealed the true side of Telegram in his article on Medium

after he was sued for ~ 1.7 million USD  (100 million rubbles) officially for revealing the company commercial secrets.
He actually revealed shady corp schema between 4 companies:
     connection between Russian   company  "TELEGRAPH" OOO  (LLC)    <----->   with beliz company "Telegraph Inc." <---> with UK london-based Telegram Messenger LLP  <----->  and with   Dogge Labs Ltd. (British Virgin Islands)

Personally i don't like when people are contradictory:
  Pavel Durov says that he doesn't care about money, he claims to be ascetic       at  the same time  he   uses all luxury life  behind the scenes.

I would like to know that telegram will have a reward thread. I am very optimistic about this project. I believe this project will be successful.

Once it is confirmed it will be huge. Blockchain + messenger have great potential. There are a lot of competitors but Telegram as widely used messenger will easily surpass them.
