Hello. How does your platform manage to completely exclude the interference of any third parties in the process of determination of the match result or the number on the roulette table?

We have public (distributed) randomness.

Are you sure that poker tables and casinos wont incur losses if people are going to win fair amount of time? Most of them survive only because of the frequent losings.
No, the chance of winning and losing will be approximately equal, so both players and casino owners will be pleased. Moreover, casinos will be able to reduce the cost of internal transactions significantly, which compensates for possible losses.

Not exactly one hundred percent correct. There will be some house edge: the point is that it will be driven purely by the market forces: given that anyone can reproduce any DApp that is created, the house edge will be the MR=MC-ish equilibrium.

Hi. What about Spade’s scaling? In case of such high demand blockchain should get bigger constantly.

We will address scalability by developing our own procedure for generating public random numbers: I cannot disclose the idea as of now, but it has to do with bitcoin hashes.. But in a way that no one has ever done it before. Hint: how would you generate random numbers at absolutely arbitrary frequencies using bitcoin hash as a seed? You can drop your ideas/suggestions, ladies, and gentlemen:)

That's an interesting response. Using the hash as a seed and using a little algorithmic magic on it could be as close to a randomly generated number as a computer could come up with.

The key is the frequency, my friend. There are many ways to come up with something random using the block contents. None of them is without its problems that are quite fundamental in nature.
The point is, however, how do you produce 1000 different RN/second.

Is Spade completely decentralized?

Entirely. Even on the idea level: we are not the sole designers of the DApps on our platform - anyone can do it.

That's really incredible. DApps are obviously the future of just about all digital platforms in my opinion.

I'm also wondering what kind of skills I would need to be able to make a game on SPADE? I'm guessing there won't be a GUI interface to hold my hand through the process?
When the protocol is finalized, everyone will be able to get acquainted with the list of necessary skills. But, of course, the games will be no less colorful than in other casinos.

Are there any estimates on when the protocol will be finalized? Months I assume?

Please, refer to our roadmap.

Can you give me an example of the way your local randomizer works? I couldnt find any info about it.
It works on the basis of two very simple, but perfectly compatible mechanisms. The principle of its operation is described in detail on page 12 of our WP.

Greetings! If I’m getting it right Spade allows lowering transactions  expenses which means that platform profit will get lower as well.
I think you understood the first part only. How is it possible to lower profit by having less expenses?
Players are going to know that transactions cost less to casino so they will expect bigger prices better rating bids.
Casino can still keep its margin the same and at the same time make transactions fees lower. It still will be profitable for gambling-house.
Okay, I hope your plan works. Well wait… Does casino have to pay fees to the platform for using technology?
Information about the possibility of acquiring technology will be announced in the near future. There will be an answer to your question. Stay with us!

Is smart contracts technology gonna be used every time users click on slots? I think it might be quite irritating.
No, the process will be fully automated. All in all, it’d be simply awful from the point of view of the user interface, and we’re eager to create the most transparent and comfortable conditions for the players.

Any bounty available yet? This looks great! $EDG just got a license, this should help SP8DE be a more legit ICO with one casino based blockchain licensed already
Not yet, but the team is working on it. When a bounty program is developed, the message about it will appear in the first post of this topic.

Cardano offers its own flexible and finance application-tailored scripting language. Will you borrow this ready-made solution or will you develop your own language for scripts?

This sounds like an interesting idea. Are there any big partners so far?
The team is working to attract large companies, but we can’t reveal information about this yet. Follow us and you won’t miss the news about it!
