Visiting https://a.chainpoint.org/nodes/[your_eth_address] shows {"code":"MethodNotAllowedError","message":"GET is not allowed"}

Developers had to suspend this feature because it was supposedly used for some kind of attack. It is on hold and they are working on other way to show the log.

Anyone please explain me what exact thing I have to do to create my own node? I have to download and install Utubu? I'm not a developer, please help me!!

get ready to put 10+ nodes to have a minimum chance for reward in foreseeable future  Grin

How much does it cost you daily? 50$ per node? This is ridiculous

Today 1 node ~ 300$(one pay) + 5$(per month)

Are you sure about that?

Quote
Nodes must also maintain enough credits to be able to
operate for 3 hours at 1 credit per second consumed

if 1 TNT = 200 credits than you need 18 TNT per hour just to maintain node.

A node does not have to consume 1 credit per second, it is just "the worst case". A node only consumes one credit if hash is sent to the core. I have run a node for almost 24 so far and it consumed 5 credits.

Could developers clarify distribution of masternode rewards? It concerns me (and plenty of other users) a lot. It seems to me that the whole reward for a period of time goes to only one somehow selected masternode. It is therefore very similar to lottery ..  Sad

Or am I missing something?

I was wondering about this too.

I had set up a node according to the instructions provided and I *believe* I have got it running properly.

I have also sent TNT to the address for buying credits.

However, I would like to verify these 2 things in some way:
1. is my node running properly?
2. do i now have credits to qualify me for the TNT distribution?

If anybody can help me by telling me where and how to check, or whom to chat up to figure this out, I would really appreciate it Smiley

If you look at https://a.chainpoint.org/nodes/[your_eth_address], you can see credits assigned to your mastenode and results of the last healthy checks. Getting four times "true" should mean your node is up and running properly.

I think it will be nice to make a chart that compares what is the purpose , advantages or disadvantages of Factom, Golem, or TNT..
so the people who understand the infrastructures if them will en light us.

I read "How to run a Chainpoint Node" on medium,
but This instructions to install and run a node on the Tierion Network is for developers.
You should provide step by step instructions for beginners.
Thank you.

I found an answer:

It is not currently supported to run multiple Nodes on a single physical host

Anyone know what the rewards are for running a node?  Like 2500 TNT gets you like 8 TNT a month or something?
