He means that in the hourly tournaments, half the people are inactive. Its a actually an exageration, but there are quite a few indeed.
In a big tournament, even more people will sign up but most of them will end up not playing.
That will leave the rest of the players trying to pick the blind bets of the inactives before they get kicked out
It is natural, the currency has no value. There is no certainty that it will achieve an exchange. People play for fantasy coins, win, lose, compete and watch their balance regularly, tomorrow we will receive more worthless moneditas, bored.
Poker is played for money.-
does this mean you don't want to receive your "worthless" rewards tomorrow? i can always burn it if you like.

There will also be a tounament league later.
