duplicate ip addresses can't login in the site right from the start.

Maybe the software has a setting to not allow duplicate IP addresses at the same table? That would eliminate basic cheats. I doubt cheating will help much because we have some good players there

You shouldn't post the ip address of all the players. That is private information. Just ban those you catch cheating.

the most private data that will be published are the user names, ip addresses, account balances, hand histories, etc. since this is a cryptocurrency project, it's no different than bitcoin publishing nodes, ip address, etc. i would like to believe that i'm not violating any privacy rights since the email addresses and passwords will not show in the logs. if the players are not comfortable, they can stop playing.

i want to make the distribution as fair and transparent as possible. and i'm not 100% sure if this is legal that's why i'm telling everyone now and have a few days until actually publishing it. unless i see a convincing reason to believe that i should not push through, i will do it.

everyone can tell their opinion about this.

publishing that log would be illegal. it will invade a users right to privacy. you see that privacy statement whenever you signup for different websites? that is the agreement that the admin will not use or sell the users data in a way that could harm them. and since the domain is registered under a declared private person, I would not do it if I were in admin's situation.

I don't see the urgency and disaster that you seem to talk about. At most I see some opportunistic behaviour by some players, which is not against the game rules.

In a few days there will be logs too, though a smart exploiter would know how to hide double accounts anyway.

i have not seen the logs in detail. i don't have time for that at the moment.

Dev: During week 1, we were already deceived by users with multiple accounts. The distribution failed. You intend to distribute 1M tilts in 5 years, when it is likely that an asteroid has fallen by then or all of us are buried by a tsunami.

Publish the logs!

In the spirit of transparency and to let the community help me monitor the player activities, I will start publishing all the event logs of the poker room right from the moment the server went live.

Every Sunday, right after releasing the weekly rewards, I will also publish the activities for the week.
This will include the ip logs and all other events in the poker room server.

The first publication will be this Sunday. If I am doing something illegal please let me know before Sunday.
If you are not comfortable your ip address will show in the logs, please stop playing.

i'm willing to give the ip logs, if it's legal. not just the ip logs. all logs. i don't know if it's a crime or not. if it's not, i would gladly publish it regularly.
this way, everyone can help me police the site.

regarding the news, heavy refactoring and testing is being done on the tiltnode to get it ready by the end of the month.
it is starting to look away from ethereum and start to look like a new, shiny blockchain.
no gpu miner yet. that will be the next once the main net starts.

then after that will be the web wallet. right now it's only a command line wallet. same as when ethereum started.

then after that, the dapps. everyone who can code will be welcome to build on top of TILT.
