Hello guys,

I'm new one on TIPS. I've read a lot of information about TIPS but didn't find if any p2p pool available for fedora coin?

Hello, I believe there was a p2pool at 1 time but if I am correct it was taken own a short time ago. At the momnt though we do have a bunch of pools working in good order.

http://core.fedoracoin.net/
http://fedora.luckyminers.com/
http://fedora.my-pool.in/
http://fedora.pcfil.com/
http://fedora.coin-pool.org/
http://fed.notnull.org/  -
http://chickenstrips.net/

Maybe check out one of those. If P2P is what you are set on, I will double check to make sure there isn't already one available to use ee what I can do about getting one set up Smiley

Guys, a quick teaser update from us to let you know that we're still active.

We're done with the first version of the actual payment processing.
It's still a bit rough-cut, but the proof of concept very much works.

In the first screenshot below, you can see our server logs just after the server got a payment to the inbox account of user 'test'.

That payment has not yet been confirmed, but we're logging it as 'seen'.

This way we can notify users of the Javascript Client-side payment flow through the use of websockets that we've received their transaction almost immediately after they've clicked send.

In the next screenshot, you can see the logs at a later time:

First, there has been one block since we received the first transaction, but said transaction was not in that block.
The next block did contain our transaction, so we detected that the transaction was now confirmed one time.

At that point, the balance is moved from the 'inbox' of user test to the wallet of user test.
Now, the balance will show up as 'unconfirmed' on the user's dashboard.

With each following block the transaction is confirmed more and after a certain threshold (settable by the site owner) the transaction becomes 'verified' and w/ Fedoracoin issues a callback to the website that the purchase was made on.
The transaction is now complete for the user, and they get the item they paid for.

After an additional number of transactions (we're still debating the exact number, but a payment processor should be reliable and actively battle double-spending) the balance becomes confirmed and user 'test' can withdraw the balance to a Fedoracoin address.

That's it for now folks!

Don't forget to visit the site/bump our threads if you want to support us!
If you have a reddit account, we'd appreciate it if you would help with spreading the word.

Is it worth buying now FedoraCoin on CoinedUP the Doge? Because Fedora course Coin dropped. Was this coin has a future?

Fedoracoin at the price of 2LTC satoshis is an amazing price to pick them up for.

Yes the coin has had issues where the developer was not vocal on the forums at all and it took away some faith people had in the coin. He basically vanished.
but

At this point we as a community have decided to take over, and have some big things planned for the coin.

The pay withfedoraco.in team is supporting us 100% and with their help I and the communtiy are going to make this coin the widespread, wideley used coin it should be. We do not only have marketing strategies planned but we have ideas being rolled out that will give the coin a real world value to purchase items, not just games and faucets. If you can bear with us, the coin is on the right track now with no sign of slowing down.

Check the community takeover thread out here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annfedoracoin-the-community-is-taking-over-main-415633

Now I am not saying the price will go through the roof, but I do not believe anyone should even sell at 2 LTC satoshis. It is way underpriced for the size of community behind it.

Well, because of the hashrate, 2 to 3 LTC satoshis is in fact the "normal" price. If it were 5 or 6 LTC satoshis, with the current hashrate, TIPS would be 2 times more worth mining than DOGE.
At 3 LTC satoshis it's nearly as worthy mining as DOGE. At 2 LTC satoshis it's a little less worth mining than LTC.
But 2 LTC satoshis is really the bottom. Most recent trades were at least at 3 or 4 LTC satoshis.

Well once we get past block 99999, the payout with halve and it may be a different story!

indeed, so whats the nxt step on our part then...i wana get involved!

We are basically starting the brainstorm here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4510618

Many of the ideas posted in the first reply are perfect and we will basically have to start with a web redesign as we do not have access to the main site.
I will be keeping the thread updated with what are considered the best ideas and where to start.
