Look, the scammers start off day one with a big push to sell coins or masternodes, making alsorts of big promises and typically having setup the reward structure so that masternodes.online will report a crazy high ROI a couple of weeks later so that noobs will come along and buy in. They do this under a cloud of anonymity and as soon as the coin gets on the exchanges they dump and run.
TOUR has been growing slowly over a year now, we have never sold any coins, I've never taken a penny to my pocket. Feel free to discuss the project with anyone in our channel, they have learned to trust me.
who has all those coins if you just announced it? You have a mil coins yourself now? Do you have 371 mn? Nobody else is posting here, etc.
TOUR is a low cap coin, only 3mil will ever be minted, 1.4mil are currently in circulation of which I am holding 750K. I started out with 1.2mil and I have distributed the difference for free to a group of about 800 people. I did that to help people build masternodes to secure the network, we currently have 379 active nodes. I haven't sold any coins and I'm not going to.
I'm interested in pow, but I didn't mine this because it's already nearly a year old and not on any exchanges, with today being the first announcement. Looks sketchy to me. Not looking for another coin to waste my time mining for it to just be dumped by the devs.
I'm not going to dump my coins, building this is a career move not a get rich quick scheme. It's a get stinking rich very slowly scheme! I've been working on this for over a year now without putting it on any exchanges, and you think that means I must be looking to dump? No way!!
What is your interest in TOURIVA? Are you hoping to just mine some of the coin so you can dump it on an exchange and move along? If that's the case then really your just looking to scavenge some free money from my efforts and your not really interested in what we are doing at all.
Tell me, what's the difference between a premine and announcing the coin after you mined it for a year?
None really, we have both a huge premine and an 'old' chain. I don't intend for TOURIVA tokens to be easily obtainable through any method other than through offering accomodation services on our planned app. Whilst we are in the bootstrap period anything you can do to contribute to the project will be useful and rewarded with free TOUR.

Most of the people who are holders in the project only check in with it's progress from time to time, I'm sure a few of them will popup eventually.
It's almost like you don't even want miners to mine it.
People can mine it if they want, they won't get a whole bunch of reward for doing that, certainly not at this stage anyway. The settings of the coin are intended to make offering accomodation services the absolutely most rewarding strategy for being involved in this.
You also talk so much about not being a scam that it's fishy. lol.
Over the years I've been scammed in crypto so many times I'm naturally suspicious of everything, and you should be as well. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone looking at this ( or any other project ) to do due dilligence and research. It's only sensible to be cautious in this sphere.
Most crypto scams don't make sense, so your "slowest scam in history" point is moot. "Touriva is entirely funded by donation" and "I don't take any money for this project" don't work well together. If I donate to the project, you take the money, right? It goes to your pocket, right? Sure you might invest it into the network, but you're benefitting from that too. Ultimately using someone else's money for your (and hopefully our) gain. Is that not taking money and profit?
No, 100% of all money ever collected in the donations pot is still in the donations pot. It's about 0.34 BTC right now, and when it's big enough it will be spent on listings. I pay $200 a month to support the web ecosystem whilst I'm developing it in my spare time.
Don't get me wrong, not saying you are definitely scamming people, or not, just explaining what I feel when I read over this thread, why I am not mining it, etc. Once I ran the wallet and seen 46 weeks, it was a wrap. lol
Well that's your choice, we are not going to reboot the chain now it's running nicely and a lot of people have put a lot of effort into setting up Masternodes and keeping them up to date with the releases as the project evolved over the last year. Once again; We are looking for people to collaborate with us in bootstrapping a Tourism company, if that's interesting to you then join us, if your just looking to get some free money for doing basically nothing then I think you will find this project a disappointment.
I'd much rather spend time working on the code and making the system better.
