The current troptions website is very amateurish, can we invest in getting a more professional one up and running. It certainly won't hurt the chances of getting the coin added to an exchange.

http://trp.ispace.co.uk mining pool is back up and running after we have migrated all of our pools to a new host. We now have spare capacity so things should run a lot smoother going forwards.

Thanks! Noticed a considerable difference in speed today Smiley

Any news on updates/pools/exchanges?
The best thing you can do is put a request in or forum posting for Troptions (TRP) be added to exchange at Crypsty.com, Vicurex.com, BTer.com, Coins-e.com, etc.

It matters. Please take a few minutes and do so.

I have created an installation file that will automatically create a startup configuration for your Troption wallet to run in server mode; will install bfgminer; start it and the wallet also.

I do not think it could be easier.  It is intended for asic block explorers, so if you want to use other hardware, you just need to close bfgminer after it starts and create a shortcut with the proper parameters for bfgminer.exe.

If you need details on how to create shortcut or more, please post.

I am mining using bfgminer on mac...m using BFL Bitforce SC

I'm not sure what you need for mac? If you have bfgminer, you can point your miner to the ispace pool. Am I missing something?

I wanted to know about solo mining....

just like zetacoin I'm mining the shit out of this and waiting. If people mine, it will get on an exchange. Just be patient a few weeks.

could u explain how , i am looking for solo mining and using few blades

Use the pool http://trp.ispace.co.uk - there's a getting started guide with the stratum info that you could use.

The pool seems very buggy/unreliable. Not sure but it feels like wasted time pointing to that pool.

Oh really? I have noticed that I have to reconnect pretty often, but it's the only pool I can find =\

Yea, it's constantly lagged and I am not convinced you get awarded the correct amount because of it.

For instance, right now:

Time Since Last Block   3 hours 41 minutes 36 seconds

When I can guarantee that there has been many blocks found since 4 hours ago.

There are more people, so far, that are solo mining than with the pool, however, soon the pool will be needed.

Email Cryptsy to be put on exchange, they already have been physically visited, and are just waiting, I guess.

GreenTreeFinancial in Florida and North Carolina are also waiting for exchange and ready to buy, buy, buy, so put your request into Cryptsy and other exchanges.

I'm not sure what you are saying.. the pool is bugged but who cares because most aren't using it?

Is there another pool out there for these?
