The amount of people that have scrypt-asics is negligible and we are only PoW mining for 1 week.
We have considered your request, however the team has decided to stick to scrypt and in no way is this an indication of our incompetence or negligence to our project.
Well the ones that do have asic are going to dominate and get the majority of coins, which is bad for distribution. Additionally, this isn't just about scrypt-asics but multipools as well. If they point their hashing power to UVC you can expect dumping and a lot of selling pressure. On the other hand, switching to a different algo you don't have to worry about that as much since most multipools aren't setup to mining anything other than scrypt.
