Hi,

Thanks for the info. Still can't get it to work. Here is my unobtainium.conf file:

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=x
rpcport=65535
port=65534
server=1
listen=1
daemon=1
rpcallow=*
addnode=71.7.130.11
addnode=69.85.86.195

When I go into the log file, here is a repeating error:

connection timeout
trying connection 69.85.86.195:65534 lastseen=100.2hrs

Any further suggestions?

Try to add this line to your config file

addnode=p2pool.org:65534

Hope it will solve the problem.

I don't follow on the .conf file. Are there some variables in the file that you have to customize to yourself? If so, what do we do? Thanks in advance for any help!

You need to complete 2 steps.
Step 1. Download unobtanium wallet.

Step 2. Create unobtanium.conf file and put it in the the same folder where wallet is installed. Double check file name.
Conf file should contain this:

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=x
rpcport=65535
port=65534
server=1
listen=1
daemon=1
rpcallow=*
addnode=71.7.130.11
addnode=69.85.86.195

So I started mining UNO and downloaded the wallet.
Its says 18 week behind, but it wont update
it says no block source available..

How do I update my wallet??

Hey there.
Make sure you create .conf file as described in the beginning of the topic. Double check .conf file name, it must be unobtanium.conf, NOT unobtaInium.conf, there is a typo at topic starter's post. It should work fine after you create this file.

Thanks guys.  I have switched to http://www.coinmine.pl/un/index.php

It seems that the difficulty swings wildly throughout a day.  It seems logical to switch to an alternative altcoin when difficulty gets too high and back again when it's lower.

Is this something you guys have considered?  If so, is there a pattern to the fluctuating difficulty?

This is exactly why the difficulty swings so much, when the difficulty gets high every one jumps off so then it drops low again.  If you try to switch back to it when difficulty is low, so is everyone else and then it jumps back up again.  So you really end up only mining the increasing difficulty parts.

Just discovered this coin. Attracted by the low numbers and fast mine. Will be interesting to see what becomes of this coin after it mines out.
Hope you left a few for me to find!

Anyone know why Mining Pool Co doesn't seem to be working for me?  I'm using CGMiner .bat file  and get   'MySQL server has gon'  error message.

Thanks.

EDIT:  I've had no issues for the last 3 weeks until yesterday, and I've changed nothing.

I've been getting the exact same message since last night.   I was working fine before.  I think its a problem on their server.

Yes their website says they're going to be down for 72 hours.

No you're talking about Coinex.pw   We are talking about www.miningpool.co..
I looks like the pool was down for a few hours but is working again.  https://www.miningpool.co/stats/UNO/

Oh okay, yeah. I used Coinex when it didn't have that much traffic and with 8 gh/s I would get into the top 15 hashrates of any coin's pool, sometimes even in the top 5! Now though I never even get close, now the server crashes because there are too many people visiting the website, now it lags whenever I visit. Things have changed a lot.
