Lol... U are both missing some blocks then :p It appears the blockexplorer machine is farthest so far.. one other machine is stuck on 20732 and one is stuck on 20766..

once you are uptodate remove that line and use the normal lines again. I hope that might help...

EDIT: you can even let it in together with the addnodes, or change connect to addnode.. All my clients are now at 20777...

If you're behind a firewall/router, port forward port 9116.

I did finally get 1 connection but still out of sync.

Edit even with the 1 connection its not DL any old blocks

The problem is that many people are not using the client or the nodes are no longer up.

Add me, 24.162.172.119 to your node list.

I have 4 machines all telling me 0 connections.... amongst these machines, the blockexplorer and pool... Any idea what's up?

Around the time of the block reward increase, a non-malicious fork took place (one miner achieved a lucky streak). Although the only actual effect for the long-term operation of the chain is the possibly significant reduction in overall coins existing in a spendable state, the fork also demonstrates exactly why you do not want block discovery times under ~ 2 min. Although often overlooked, the block discovery time is integral to the security off the network. Neither bitcoin nor litecoin chose their parameters randomly. Having a good portion of your 'honest'/non-malicious network constantly behind due to floods of NB notifications is not a state any blockchain should target.

Ok, so those who would like to see this coin succeed, who invested time and resources, lets go!!! Ideas would be nice from the community, if we can provide it, it will be done!!

I'd say first let's restructure the bounties, then split the workload amongst the team. The idea of paying people is good incentive, but maybe, let's pay for results.

We need to keep bumping this post, it keeps it on the first page and people will start paying attention.

you need to really hype up this coin, i barely have a thousand but i opened a doc exchange and have been encouraging people to join in, but seeing how laid back you are, the community is moving on. you premined, but you are not doing give away or other marketing gimmicks to entice people to join up. new coins are good business, but if they are not showing love to the community they die in a week, the hash rate is already dropping. I promise you, unless you start pushing and hustling, everyone will be holding this new "scam/joke coin". i don't mean it offensively, but i mine alts for a living, and this one has a OP who isn't doing much to get it going, if you need help, pay a few choice people some hefty coin, the right people hyping your coin will make it take off nicely.

3) Advertise,
4) Lets get some services going

If you find the workload too much, talk to some people and have them join in on development. The days of coin+pool=$$$$ are over. This coin needs Services like somewhere to gamble, trade for other coins, trade for goods, tertiaries like hiring a server. Example, i rent out scrypt mining @ 2 LTC/Mh 24hrs for altcoins only. I have a total of 5 Mh and everytime a new viable coin comes out, i get mad orders.
