LOL not sure why all my shares are getting rejected, only when mining this coin I keep getting shared rejected. (Share is above target) Any ideas?
Can be many factors. Just recently I found out while I gpu and cpu mined with a quad core cpu with 2 gpus, I was running out of system resources and the "Share is above target" came up. I had 3 cpu cores mining and I changed it to 2 cores to mine, it fixed it. Another time, I had the intensity too high and/or worksize. You just got to troubleshoot whats the possible cause you think is causing it and try it.
To others out there, what are good setting to mine on VEL? I'm currently using I=11 and W=64 with 2x 6970's and 2x 5870's. I=18 was hashing fast, but shares was coming fast enough. Also, same with W=256, seems like 64 works better.
Is vcc.altexc.com the only pool mining?

Just let dumpers dump. Coinedup is good it will distribute all coins among miners/traders on low prices before VEL appear on chinese exchanges. So dumpers couldn't dump there.

It's not the coin its the exchange that sucks. People seem to be misreading as "coindump" there. You can take any coin listed there, all going down (except ltc maybe)

Just started mining on http://velocitycoin.miners-point.com with 7000 kh/s. GPU miner shows my hashrate at about 1000 kh/s per GPU but usually in cgminer i have about 680 kh/s.
But I dont get this.. Pool stats say I would be getting est 500 coins on each block but all im getting paid is 2-5 coins per block. is this normal?

It is scrypt-jane algo. Cgminer don't work for this coin. You must use specific miner (read OP - GPU miner).

nobody mining, no reward. Same stupidity like QQC. Still waiting for any fair play scrypt-jane coin.
Fair play = block reward not decreasing so stupidly quick, low reward for first 2000 blocks (to eliminate premine / unfair rush), and steady reward for the next blocks.
