28 days since last activity in github... was it so that the work is worked on privately now? Why?

Github activity only shows if you push changes right? He is probably working on something he shares soon. Let's not do this thing where we complain about someone who is basically doing volunteer work. Let him work and just have a bit of patience.

i will post very welcoming smth once you fix that crap, i tried to, back then,
but then it turned out old blocks get sucked with the same bloat.
only VIA to my knowledge to that extent (some bloat in MYR and maybe more, i forgot)

out of curiosity, did you use the latest 0.10.11 client?
havent seen this behavior occur with latest client.
you can also get bootstrap from http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=365

Awesome Romano! What do you see as the biggest possible hurdle?

Getting 6 hours of sleep. It's 4:30am now I'm typing this.

jokes aside

Well Merged mining was the biggest hurdle. But that seems to be getting solved at a rapid rate.
uuuhmmm you want me to go in Technical details about it? Like in code?

Right now I'm checking this zcash pr they had 5 days ago https://github.com/zcash/zcash/pull/2099
and "Reduce checkpoints' effect on consensus." https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/5927/commits/dce8360e44d5330cc9f9d09c9b09ac9237237204#diff-7ec3c68a81efff79b6ca22ac1f1eabbaL2637

Don't think there's need to call Checkpoints::CheckBlock() but I will test that out

Sleep is a rare commodity. :-)

Would be nice if those additions work out and good to see you're tracking the latest developments.

Yeah Romano from twitter
in last few days i resynced VIA chain from zero in win64.
it gobbles about 300Gb of trash just to carve out ~7G of chain w full index.
kinda mining manganese lol, never been fixed for years.
and you call that a progress guys huh ...
That's a pretty passive aggressive post you have.

Yeah you will love Viacoin 0.13 since you care about a good wallet instead of weird dApps

Viacoin 0.13.x isn't released yet.
....... Otherwise we would be signaling for SegWit or picked a date.

Makes sense right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

0.10.11 was fixing a security bugs & updating dependency's

Also Time for school !

Just updated the Viacoin website. The Roadmap & Segwit interview is now included on the website
https://viacoin.org/

Looks nice and thanks for your explanation of why you don't like unlimited. Segwit would not have that hardfork issue?
It wouldn't have that issue. SegWit is a soft fork.

Okay thanks. Was unaware of this.
