I don't think you have to swap tokens. As far as I know, Vinchain will use Ethereum's smart contracts features for the recording of a vehicle's history, in fact the whole development centers around it.

do we have to swap for this token? whether it is necessary for the vinchain token holder, since the ico tokens are just finished and waiting for the exchange

Firstly congratulations about the success of VINChain project ICO. I just go  through the swap procces but I need to understand where I see in Vinchain platform dashbord my VIN tokens. After I pass with swap procces I see this in the last windows: "Already mapped wallets
ETH Wallet   VINChain Name .... " This is the good way? Good luck! Thanks in advance.

- There is no time limit for the token swap
- You will not lose your tokens if you do not do the token swap
- Please remember to enable 2FA first
- You can do the token swap from any wallet!!! (not just MyEtherWallet)
- Even if you have imtoken or any other wallet, you still go to this link https://www.myetherwallet.com/signmsg.html to create the signature

 ERRORS:
- Zero token error: if your dashboard is showing you that you have 0 tokens in your wallet  then don't worry, their dashboard will update tomorrow. Just wait and it will be fixed automatically
- The source of the "invalid data" error that some are getting - its when you copy/paste between chrome tabs on MEW - it leaves in some space characters at the start of every line if you remove these FOR EVERY LINE it works

Yes you are right, i just share about what i know about how to swap VINchain's token and all of the participants bounty campaign still doesn't get the token, you must wait for the updating from the manager, to getting more information about it you can check on the official channel of bounty campaign on telegram here you go @bountysandraevans you can make questions about it. This is a big project
Hopefully after the ICO, the unlocked VIN token will be the big exchange place

WP translations are obligatory for every project. Without it nobody will trust their money to people who din't care about people who doesn't speak English

This operation should be done when the tokens are already on the ether purse? If there are no coins yet, then  need to wait. And who already received the tokens?

Here steps by step of instructions

1. Have 2fa enabled

2. Make a wallet name (keep on to the wallet name)

3. Now generate the public and private keys and store them somewhere safe (your gonna be using the "VIN××××××××××" public key that you just generated in a few)

4. (Before you go to "MEW" website, find your private key from the wallet that you stored your vinchain tokens in) now go to the MEW website and go all the way to the bottom where it says "sign message" and click on the link

5. (Before you touch the message box, there will be something that says "how would you like to access your wallet?"(this is when you need your private key from the wallet that is holding your vinchain tokens)

6. select the private key answer and put your private key in the box and then click unlock

7. Now put the public key "VIN×××××××××××" (its the public key that you generated) into the message and click sign

7. now you should have the signature code, you need to copy every single thing that was in the box

8. Now go back to Vinchain site and click "next" and paste the signature code into the box
