Time has flown by and the most important automotive event of the year fast approaches. NADA Show 2019 takes place in San Francisco from January 24-27 and VINchain is overjoyed to confirm that we’ll be in attendance.

The NADA Show Expo is the largest marketplace of products and technologies, industry leaders, manufacturers, exhibitors and other key players, and presents a tremendous opportunity for growth. We are planning to pitch our vision and idea and court partnerships in order to expand our already extensive vehicle data network.
Our primary focus at this year’s show is to connect with large dealerships through our connected car solution, the VINchain Connected Car Device. We’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback from dealers and are excited to offer a product that will allow them to expand their traditional approach with 21st century tools.

VINchain 2018 Wrapup

As the year comes to an end it’s the perfect time to remember and reflect on what we have succeeded in and are proud of.

2018 was an incredible year for VINchain, we’ve started to bring our vision to life and continue to work hard on our development. There will be more updates to come but for now let’s highlight achievements of our passionate team and community.

This year was full of events that enabled us to spread our idea across the industry, form valuable connections and even win competitions.

We attended the Digital Dealer Conference & Expo in Orlando, eMerge Americas expo, Emerge conference in Minsk, IoT World where we entered and won the “Project Kairos” startup pitching competition. We participated in the Annual Summit World Tokenomic Forum, took part in the “Connected & Autonomous Vehicles 2018” conference, Global Entrepreneurship Week in Belarus, competed in the Belbiz Startup Battle on the GEW stage which was held with the support of the British Embassy and more. We’re poised to hit the ground running in 2019 with new conferences and events that we’ll share with our amazing community.

We had an extremely fruitful year developing our MVP, hosted webinars with our CEO, onboarded a large team of experienced in automotive industry advisors, became members of automotive associations including ASA (Automotive Service Association), NIADA (National Independent Automobile Dealers Association), MOBI (Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative) and GAVDA (Global Alliance for Vehicle Data Access). We forged promising partnerships with A Better Bid, Autoinspect, Epic VIN, VinGurus, CarsDesk, Easy Export, Vininspect, AdvertiseCarsFree, DASH, ZEUS Protocol, UnbiasedAuto and continue to grow. We released an updated version of our website which is now live and listed VIN tokens (VIN) on two top exchanges - IDCM and IDAX.

2) OBD platform

We’ve reached a point in our growth where we’ve decided that our behind-the-scenes development is suitable to focus on the VINchain Connected Car Device. This is known as an onboard diagnostic (OBD) device and makes any car as smart as your phone. The device itself relies on a platform to be useful to everyone from consumers to large enterprise and fleet owners, we’re committed to making our OBD platform usable in beta by the time we attend NADA at the end of January.
