Now that's a good way to earn some cash and also to "spread the word" about this great project!  Smiley
I assume the prizes are equivalent to VIVID's, right?

That is correct Condoras! Prizes will be awarded on the 15th of this month.

Hey everyone. Interesting project, looks quite promising to me.
What is the approximate ROI for masternodes and for POS mining here at the moment?
And what is the necessary tokens amount to get a masternode?

You need 10,000 coins to run a masternode. Regarding the current value of ROI and other statistics - you can track this data on special services, such as these below:

What is the term of coinmature?
Are you asking what coinmature is or are you asking what the value of that is? 11 blocks I believe.

It seems that we did not understand each other. English is not my native language, so I apologize for any misunderstandings or ambiguous interpretations.
When staking coins, as a rule, there is a certain time of maturation of coins (coinmature), after the expiration of which your stake becomes active again in the network.
As far as I could understand, for this coin this value is somewhere between 67 and 119 confirmations (but, of course, it is not equal to 11 blocks). I will try to get a more accurate value as a result of further observations of the wallet, although it is customary for the developer to indicate these data in the announcement of the coin in the “specification” section.

Be so kind as to give an example of a console command to ban one or another masternode.
Code:
setban 0.0.0.0 add 864000
This would ban the IP 0.0.0.0 for 864000 seconds.

Thank you! This command works fine and I removed all the misbehaving masternodes.

Terminated.
- Should i add those data to debug console everytime i want to log in ?
No; 'add' should add them permanently to your list of peers; 'onetry' just attempts the connection right away.

- When the release of 1.3.0. version? i didn't find it in GitHub releases page.
As soon as new seed nodes are deployed in another two countries I should start building; hopefully within a few days at most.

It is unfortunate that in the current version of the wallet there is no function to do this with one click, as in many other coins with MNs. It would be great if the developers implemented such a function in the new wallet version. Although you say that there is no need to ban the wrong masternodes, I believe that this is not the case. Incorrectly working MNs can lead us to the wrong chains under certain circumstances.
In this particular case, misbehaving nodes can't get you synced with the fork chain. If you use a new client and even if you are connectly to old misbehaving/old peers you will get stuck at block 2xxxxx something (I don't remember the exact number now). At that point you would be stuck forever (i.e. never synced up with the fork chain either) until you manually resolved it by fetching blocks that don't break consensus rules.
Anyhow, 1.3.0 should block connections to pre 1.2.0 nodes.

There's no need to ban them. If you really wanted to, you could manually do so using the setban command or using the console (GUI).

Thank you for your answers!

It works good now.
I am waiting for paiement, to confirm that the wallet works fine.

I would like to ask last questions:
- Should i add those data to debug console everytime i want to log in ?
- When the release of 1.3.0. version? i didn't find it in GitHub releases page.

- No, you don't have to do it again.
- As far as I know, this version does not yet exist. Each team decides on its own - whether it is necessary to release a new version to solve any problems in the old version of the wallet. The task of the community is to monitor such updates and give feedback when finding bugs or any issues in the current versions.

I uninstall it again and reinstall it by changing the installation folder to another directory, everything went smooth and the wallet.dat file was succefully pasted in the new wallet folder, but the wallet can't synchronize with the network, it keeps showing that no connected pairs and no blocks for scan (wallet not connected).
Enter the following commands in order in the debug console:
Code:
addnode 144.202.17.231 add
addnode 144.202.17.231 onetry
addnode 144.202.65.82 add
addnode 144.202.65.82 onetry
Make sure your wallet version is 1.2.1; the no-connection issue should be (hopefully) fixed in 1.3.0.

Hi
Yesterday i was in contact with manager from telegram about the paiement for the latest campaign of vivid and before sending the coins he asked me to upgrade my wallet. As i am not too much skilled with technical stuff, i just tried to follow the instructions from the manager who adviced me to copy the wallet.dat file before deleting the wallet folder then reinstalling the new wallet (upgraded version) and put the copied wallet.dat file into the new folder:
The wallet is installed by default in appdata folder, when i try to paste the wallet.dat file, it shown an error that the folder is a "blacklisted folder".

What is the problem and What to do?

*Today i contacted the telegram manager asking him to accept change in wallet address.

What are the minimum, maximum and optimal sizes of 1 input?
I don't believe there is any data yet for this: The general consensus is, however, that e.g. 10x1k is better than 1x10k.

What is the "stake split threshold"? Does this mean that when an input reaches a size of 2,000 or more coins - it is automatically split into 2 or more smaller ones?
Yes, the default is 2000 but you can change it yourself.

What is the annual ROI of POSmining?
For every block of 5 Vivid, 4 goes towards MN's and 1 goes towards people staking. There's one block every minute; the rest you will be able to figure out on your own depending on the timeframes that you had in pine.

What is the term of coinmature?
Are you asking what coinmature is or are you asking what the value of that is? 11 blocks I believe.

I see that some of the MNs do not work well in the VIVID network and use old versions of the wallet. How can I ban them?

I want to inform the VIVID community that @vividplatform successfully solved my problem (I wrote about it here - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.48992791) with a reward for my participation in the bounty campaign! As a result of our personal communication, we came to an agreement and I accepted his apology for the actions and inaction of the first manager @Pelsjager, who did not do his job properly and, thus, created this problem.

@vividplatform was very attentive and kind to me and my problem. This is a great rarity now, when scamprojects are thriving around, which are deceiving their bounty participants or investors (and more often, those and others at once).

Therefore, I edit my previous post and share this amazing pleasant event here with great pleasure! Smiley

Dear @vividplatform, it was easy and pleasant for me to communicate with you, I am very grateful to you for your honesty and decency! It changes my attitude to the VIVID project as a whole and I will give you an example!

Good luck to the project and the community! I will gladly be your little part! Smiley

Great to know that VIVID platform has solved your problem. Almost all project does not reply and even reply too many days late where your problem solved fast.

Yes, thank you very much for being a very nice exception! Smiley

I would also appreciate your technical assistance on the questions I asked above (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.49335634), as well as on the following:

I did not find the information I needed in Discord and ask you to give me valid sources. I am interested in everything related to the POSmining of the VIVID coin.

What is the "stake split threshold"? Does this mean that when an input reaches a size of 2,000 or more coins - it is automatically split into 2 or more smaller ones?

What is the term of coinmature?

Thanks in advance for your answers and / or links!
