New Version of Waterfall Node Desktop App is available!

New Features:
0.3.1 Beta
- Download the latest snapshot when adding a new Node.
- Import workers.
- Remove workers and nodes.

Improvements:
- Add a path when removing a node.
- Disable activation/deactivation/withdraw workers buttons if the node is stopped.

Fixes:
- Add a check if a user tries to import a worker with an invalid mnemonic.
- Withdrawal procedure: When switching to another window, the fields are cleared.
- Coordinator/Validators peers:
- Adding workers.

We've just released Node App version 0.3.0 beta. It includes several features and improvements such as:
- Windows signing app
- MacOS signing app
- Update logo and icons
- Adding a changelog page
- Adding an auto update feature
- Adding App version to Status Bar

You can now download the app to easily set up a full node and start using Test  WATER:

Supporting the Waterfall network is now easier than ever. You don't need to be a technical expert to leverage this user-friendly application. Simply open the app and link your Metamask (or any EVM) wallet to run a full node – no additional installation required!

In addition, we have enhanced the efficiency of our system resource consumption via our native Node application, whose performance has been improved by over three times on macOS.

We are currently in the process of obtaining a Code Signing Certificate from Apple and another trusted certificate authority. Once we have obtained the certificates, you will no longer need to manually authorize the installation of the Waterfall Node app on your operating system. We will make an announcement when the certificates have been obtained. 

Here's what you can do with the Test  Waterfall Node Desktop App:

 • Launch a full node and sync with the Waterfall test network 

 • Manage Workers by creating or removing them

 • Activate your node to receive stake benefits and rewards

 • View the network status and connected peers

 • Check your balances

 • Use an external SSD drive as a data storage device

What are the benefits for early Workers?

The fewer Workers participating in a network, the greater the potential WATER earnings for each Worker.

The number of Workers on Mainnet will grow over time. Therefore, after the Mainnet launch, early Workers will be rewarded more.

These higher rewards motivate other participants to join Mainnet early, contributing to increased network decentralization.
