these coins are cool as a cucumber - they look awesome and the case is well made. Plus my kids are fascinated by them, so they have to sit on the top shelf with my kialara golds..

Thanks man! Glad you like it Cheesy

...
but the coins are not in an airtight
That is just too bad. I hope people store them properly then.

The box is made such that they do not get scratches. It wasn't possible to make custom airtights for that size either.

These coins look really nice chronicsky and I can appreciate that they are different than most other coins. However, I don't really see the point as I would never open the airtight capsule just to "play" with them. That would decrease their value and even though I don't collect to sell, I wouldn't want their value to demise. The fact that these are also quite expensive makes it even worse. If they were around the price of a Ravenbit or even a Bitcoin Penny, I would love to have a few and play around with them, but $100 a piece for a brass coin (I assume it's brass as you didn't specify the material anywhere) is just too much for me, so I'll have to pass.

Good luck with sales!

thanks a lot mitchell!
but the coins are not in an airtight, one couldn't be made given their thickness. They are instead in a wooden box with velvet paper inside so they do not get a scratch.

And i understand! Thank you

Posting factual information equals to trolling now? Roll Eyes
Fact 1: Material cost of these items is garbage level. The magnet used is likely to be the cheapest of its kind, thus making the total material cost sub $10 per set.
Fact 2: You've spent months account farming and shitposting on Bitcointalk and you're directly responsible for any damage caused by the accounts that you've sold.
Fact 3: You are uneducated to the point that you don't even know the type of magnet that was used in this.

Are you suggesting that chronicsky is misleading or misrepresenting what the product is?
I don't see the material for the magnet listed, thus correct. The maker, not know and intentionally not willing to list this information is a very bad sign.

We don't need to hear your opinion on every other product launch complaining that someone might be making a profit.
I don't need to hear you complaining about my opinion on every other product launch either, yet here we are. Don't even get me started on this "we" supporting fraud, i.e. criminals et. al. Roll Eyes

These projects take a considerable amount of time and money, both in designing the product and sending it to production, not to mention any costs in damaged goods or other waste.
I have asked for a manufacturing quote, which included everything for a smaller mintage of silver coins at least once. Thus, statements like these are absolute bullshit (unless the coin has some extremely valuable/innovative features).

It's not only insulting to the maker but also anyone who has purchased or is considering purchasing their work.
I have absolutely no problem with either one.

Well he is just pissed that how people can make something when he can't do anything.
Making a coin is trivial, especially garbage.

I wonder who chose him for Escrow in NVO , i would never trust such a person who enjoys such a behaviour.
Are you, by any chance, trying to defame my name? https://archive.fo/RZ979#selection-4959.85-4959.190

Lauda,

Are you suggesting that chronicsky is misleading or misrepresenting what the product is? Otherwise, it should be of no concern what you value this at or whether you feel it is overpriced.  Let the buyers decide.  If people think it is overpriced, they won't purchase it.  End of story. We don't need to hear your opinion on every other product launch complaining that someone might be making a profit.  These projects take a considerable amount of time and money, both in designing the product and sending it to production, not to mention any costs in damaged goods or other waste.  It seems whenever a new maker puts their work out to the public, if it's not priced around what you think the raw material costs should be, then it's trash or a waste of money.  It's not only insulting to the maker but also anyone who has purchased or is considering purchasing their work.

Well he is just pissed that how people can make something when he can't do anything. I wonder who chose him for Escrow in NVO , i would never trust such a person who enjoys such a behaviour.

And if things were measured on raw material alone, he himself says - he is a pile of flesh and bones

Hey chronicsky I want the kind of magnet that snaps together when I put the two pieces close. I gathered by your gif that this is what happens. I am happy with this choice of magnet but if for some reason they push apart when I put them close together I will not be happy.

Hello,
They will pull each other closer and snap to make a full coin, i have tested each and every coin and it does that.

You can even try different finish right halves - left halves to have half-half  plating coins Cheesy

What are you doing, @Lauda? Your behavior is inappropriate. It feels like bullying.
What exactly is "inappropriate" or "bullying"? Pointing out that the person who is selling the product does not even know what it actually contains? Pointing out that the materials used are very cheap, and that the whole offering has an absurd markup? Roll Eyes Exposing idiots who try to abuse the market often leads to salty individuals, as you can see by those who respond where I do or the reputation section. All that I can tell you is: "Go cry to someone who cares.".

I won't be updating the thread with type of magnet but will let any interested buyer know once i get to know.
How to stab yourself in the foot 101. My "army of alts" are all interested buyers and want to see you publicly post the type of magnet. Angry

Hey Sky! I have a question about the reverse side / hologram. How does it work? Is it possible to seal the coin in with the hologram? I like the idea that to "break open" the coin, you can literally split it!

Great work on this release, very unique!

Hello,

There is no hologram on the reverse side.
I did make first the back side so for a hologram but it was very odd trying to paste the hologram on it, it destroyed the whole idea of making them in two parts, but then i thought of making two half holograms but that also  seemed kind of strange to me.

The back is simply a little raised with world map on it as you can see here

There is hologram though, on back side of the COA Smiley

Thanks Cheesy

That's exactly what it is and Lauda well knows this.
But, as Lauda has admitted frequently in various channels, it enjoys this behaviour and it suits its need to see others suffer in some way.

The magnets used? Interesting, Never knew there were types but google shows me 4 types which i do not understand at all.
See. Was that so hard? You could have avoided unecessary posts by just saying "I do not know.".

About the pricing, thanks for your opinion about them being costly, no wonder there are still many left.
I will just wait it out so they get sold slowly at the same price:)
There is no metal value to fall back on, for an asking price of $300. In comparison, $300 can net a few ounces of some nice looking silver coins. The problem with manufacturers is that they do not understand the value from someone else's viewpoint. You are not Kialara, thus you can't really hope to sell out quickly with high premiums like they do (well, nobody can nowadays).

Anyways, I'll hesitate posting until I see an answer to that question (from the mint).
