Dev communication is really problematic...

http://coinminers.net supports Wyvern from the beginning but it's never listed in announcement  Huh

I think the issue revolves around the insane boom in ZEC and ETH, many people who WERE mining WYV have dropped it for greener pastures with the reward drops, and the much clearer profitability in other coins.  Many of those people are probably also trying to get some BTC to reinvest elsewhere.

I would agree that the lack of dev communication here is not terribly comforting though.

Nay updates for WYV? Why are people dumping? Makes no sense unless there is some bad news around the corner.
I think it's not bad in this time, we have got more wyv earnings, after halving reward dumpers will not be so fun to sell.  Smiley

Yup, though I don't understand why people are selling for basically nothing... It's not like this is a day trading market. Hodl!

It;s a teensy market cap and volume, takes very little to move the price at the moment.

Price is really tanking now, -50% over the week. I guess that's what happens with crypto traders with zero patience, when there are no updates. Even if the dev is hard at work.

Hi Wyv Dev team

Invested in both WYV and WYCORP here, just wondering if we can get an update on how WYCORP is coming along in terms of website dev etc

Many thanks

We should come up with a way to start distributing Wyvern to gamers & other interested parties who haven't heard about it yet; get the name and brand out there some more.

Maybe miners could agree to sponsor some kind of airdrop event with proof of interest - require a Steam account, and distribute Wyvern according to hours played, for example.

Thoughts?

I agree that we need a marketing strategy; most gamers don't know Wyvern exists. The airdrop idea is interesting - would that be appealing to gamers?

Another option could be sponsorship of a tournament / player / team in eSports - maybe DOTA / CSGO / League of Legends? Any team / tournament ideas? We'd need to crowdfund the sponsorship and appoint a representative, maybe one of the coin devs.

The Dev team raised a reasonable chunk of cash in the Wyvcorp token sale.  I think it was about $70k at the time, and with the boom in ETH is probably more like 200-300k now.  I'm certain, in due time, Nukeless and the team will have a marketing plan to raise awareness.

Announcing the beta launch of Wyrm: futures contracts on DOTA games, backed by cryptocurrency (currently utilizing Wyvern). Actively soliciting paid beta testers - more information.

Only DOTA? No csgo, no lol?

I'm curious about a different idea. Do you play CSGO? Would an in-game Wyvern tipping feature be interesting (tip other players in chat)? What kind of chat does CSGO use / is it possible to run a chatbot?

Any price predictions in the next few days?

It's been slow, stable, and modestly increasing in value.

Once there's some development reveals and more utility, plus being added to new exchanges we should see a consistent gain.

At this time I see Wyvern as holding a niche similar to Hush, and kind of expect it perform similarly in the near-term.

Long term value will be based on what Wyvcorp and others can do to provide practical applications for it.  The more of those there are the better it will do.

It makes sense to focus at first - once we start running up against market size limits, we'll consider adding other games.

Okey, I understand. If you add csgo to service, I will be using site for sure Smiley
