So is there any way those who invest on CHI throw Poloniex to get that add and convert now like everyone else...It seems unfair to release the coin and have no balance on wallet any CHI. am i right?

It does seem unfair that we have to take responsibility for where we choose to leave our coins. Devs and organisers of CHI have no control over when and how poloniex manages or lists new coins. We can only talk to poloniex about that. If we have coins there, like CHI, our best course of action would be to chat with a mod in the trollbox or submit a ticket.

What could we do with the coins though? Even if we have the huntercoin wallet with CHI inside. There is no way to move the CHI at this point (afaik).

ICO has not begun. ICO date has not been announced. In reality, with so little concrete dates and timelines in place, it may be months before ICO comes to fruition. Fine by me, imo. I'd rather this product come to the ICO finished rather than half-assed. I'll wait if I gotta!
