hello everyone,

i have have some big health problems that have change my life since nov 2014, my apologies i didn't come by to share, my emotions and health issues are my #1 priority at this moment, i would be looking to hand over the project to a new team once the arrangement is made.

i currently own 138k of xcld 55k are from the premine of cld that where 110k before the swap, i will be handing over my wallet to them.

Sorry to hear about your health problems.

Wish that you get fit and healthy very soon.

Sorry to hear about that and wish you a speedy recovery, although...

Since it was an ico, what happened to the funds, that were intended for development and cloud project, etc. What is with the promised dividends from the beginning?

I thought so. Remember, dminer69, you will meet your stick in the end if you haven't already. There is one thing playing with waves and buying low and selling high, but scamming and lying falls in another category. And everyone is getting payback, one way or another, don't worry.

And Jyri,

Do you intend to give any update in near future or are you out of this project? Thanks for an honest answer on behalf of what is left of community.

I'm sorry to hear you have health problems Dev, I hope you get well.

I liked to concept of this coin when it launched, it's a shame that bobSpurPlus and his pump and dump group took a big shit on this coin, as I though I could of done well.

Well, That's Crypto :-\
oh boy, another loser Sad

I just dropped in to see why my wallet would not sync. Bought some back in August and haven't paid much attention....seems i missed the swap as well...perfect!

Whats the real word? Is the coin dead? Can I still swap cld for xcld?

Missed a coin swap there CryptoJohn? Are you starting to be into automatic coin swaps where old wallets work with future versions of the coin?

Sorry I dont follow.

I'm running wallet 1.0.0.0. The wallet is named XCloudcoin but the ticker symbol is still CLD.

Am I good? Do I need to exchange? Am I hosed? Does it even matter?

anyone?

Seems the community here is not ready to take any step further before there are couple of steps taken by the dev or the 'soon to be dev'.

Everyone seems to be waiting for good news to appear !! Will it, won't it ?

Thanks for the post, Jyri. It instills confidence that the coin is / would go in safe hands.

Look forward to your progress in finalizing things with dminer69 !

Thanks for the support, imd1!

As a quick update, the negotiations with the original dev have not yet concluded but we're getting there.

There is a lot going on on several fronts right now, ranging from the 420 Alliance Watercoin project to a handful of takeovers, from the catastrophe resilient addnode seed network to a very unique multipool, and more.

Please do not be alarmed if no updates come for a day or two. I'm not of the type to just vanish when things get hectic; simply having trouble coping with the 24 hour per day limitation... Wink

I'd love to hear of any wishes and ideas you the community have regarding further development of XCLD. I'm particularly curious to hear your comments on the cloud features; have they been of use, what kind of new features you'd like to see on that front, and so forth. =)

Yours,

Jyri

Hi!

I understand your worries and the general scepticism in the scene very well indeed, and will do my best to clarify the situation so that you have the necessary information to understand my personality and motivations.

First of all though a personal tragedy has indeed faced the original dev and his chances to even make it here for leaving comments is currently limited. I sincerely hope his situation gets better and that he will be able to participate in the development later on.

For now it is obvious that someone else has to take care of keeping the project alive, and I'm very much willing to do just that even though it does not in itself give me any personal profit - direct or indirect.

To give you some background info, I've been completely broke for years. I'm an entrepreneur who went bankrupt in 2008 and have been in deep trouble ever since - I live in Finland and this is not a country where bankruptcy would clean the slate, but instead it usually creates a vicious circle from which it is virtually impossible to get out of.

So I have a very high personal motivation to create income, while I am at the same time working with the most minimal resources anyone could imagine. My whole life I have been much more interested in helping everyone else than gaining personal profit from anything, which is also part of why I've ended up in the situation I am in. I have always tried to live according to the core rules outlined by the Bible and have never tried to gain anything through any kind of cheating.

I do not possess a single XCLD so playing around with the price would not provide me any personal gain either.

Basically the only resource I do have is my extensive understanding of business strategy, currencies in general and particularly secure server systems and hosting. While I do not condemn those who try to make money through the currency investment game, my own approach is to apply the knowledge I've gained from the challenges I've been through, and to create something concrete and unique that will help not just me but the whole crypto scene - and, in the end, the whole humanity through making cryptos a truly viable option for the fraud based fiat currencies.

In order to continue the XCLD development I have to invest to it lots of time - as well as server space and bandwidth since the coin comes integrated with the cloud storage that needs capacity and someone to maintain it. Taking on this challenge will in fact make me loose money instead of gaining it.

So why would I take on such a seemingly stupid task?

Because what I am building and what I believe will eventually provide me a steady income as well is a system that will help boost and balance the value of a number of carefully chosen altcoins. XCLD fits the picture perfectly for many reasons. I have also taken over the development of a number of other coins recently, although those have been coins whose developers have vanished completely while the XCLD creator is fortunately still available for discussion.

I suggest checking out this post:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9782634

The link above takes you directly to the message that introduces my plan for a new way to give the chosen coins concrete value and stability. You should read through the whole thread though, and at minimum this post that provides some level of proof of my existence:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9683482

Again, I perfectly understand all the doubts - I know there have been many scammers around.

I'm not one of them though, and would never lie or cheat in order to gain profit for myself.

Yours,

Jyri

Hi Jyri - thanks for your posts here.

From what you've been posting seems to raise a hope in the community which accepted that this coin is dead.

I would generally encourage such activity but it makes me afraid as well because I cannot be sure you're the real thing or just another
person who is trying to get some profits by arising hope in an almost hopeless situation (sorry, but crypto world seems to have such people in abundance).

I personally always believed that dminer69 met with an almost fatal accident or a personal crisis which demanded all of his attention.

You've said something similar here about him, I hope it's true and wish you force in this endeavour (if it's authentic).

The cloud service was used for burst and theirs no reason to believe that wasn't/isn't its primary function.  You don't buy a miner and turn it off when its still very profitable, makes no sense.  Some burst mined were used to give the coin buy support to keep the price up just to keep it going.

To be honest, I'm not fully aware what the cloud service was used for as it originally existed. I do have the understanding there were way more extensive plans regarding it, and I also have some of my own ideas of how the idea could be taken further.

Doesn't make a lot of sense the developer would communicate with you and leave the rest of the community, some of which even bought in, in the dark.

Whether or not it seems to make sense, I am in fact communicating with him. It's easy to make guesses and end up in false conclusions about people's actions if you don't know the details and the backgrounds. We're all just people here, developers included, and sometimes our life situations do not leave us with the time or energy even to communicate with everyone - no matter how much we may want to.

Perhaps (and hopefully) the original dev will be able to pop by some time soon to say hi again. Until things have been sorted out I would suggest refraining from making any conclusions based on guesswork.

Jyri

Yea look at the sells.  The developer has most of the coins and their is one sell on there for 54,806.4 cloud coins.  Obviously one person trying to pump to dump judging by all the walls consisting on exactly 300xcld.  Looks live the dev is prepping to cash out , this coin had been dead before the swap when everybody thought it was the wave of the future.

I'm having discussions with the dev about continuing the development of XCLD as well as the XCloud service. There is a good reason to why he has not been able to continue working on them, and I'm urging everyone not to jump into any conclusions.

It may be it is the dev who is selling the coins although none of us (including me) knows that for sure. If it is the dev then my bet is that he simply needs the money - again, for a very good reason.

Whoever is selling, I would personally be buying instead of worrying. I'm ready and willing to provide XCLD the attention and the underlying cloud infrastructure it needs to grow, and although I strictly refrain from making any promises about where the value of the coin is going to be in the future, my goal is to make it as stable as I possibly can.

As a side note, I do not possess a single XCLD myself and am in a very tough position financially so I'm not able to purchase any despite the current rebate price. What I do posses are the strategic and technical skills as well as the required hardware to keep the coin and the cloud service behind it going.

Patience is the key to success.
