I wonder, are there people who invested and bought this token? or at least look to investing..

exactly, personaly i am blaming ICO mentality that flooded cryptosphere in 2017. So those ICO "companies" use their funds to give "investors" what they want to see, flashy roadmaps, cool graphics and much promises in regular basis. Tech innovations however are rarely to be found..

If you think about it, it is really sad how little effort people put in to find out anything themself, before expecting others to do their work for them.

The rare people who work on this project are doing so for free, they get NOTHING for their work - let this sink in.
Any of the people who bought coins thinking they invested in this project only bought coins - nothing more, they did not support the people who are spending time/effort (and yes, sometimes even private funds) on this project by any means.
- Do not ask for updates - we give them when we have them and when we see fit to supply them forward to you (this is done here, in the twitter account and in the Slack).
- Do not ask for road maps - you will not have one - we know what we want to achieve, most of it was already articulated in the past so do the leg work and read past posts and info.
Either you trust the people who are doing the effort to make this happen, or you don't.
If you do - Know that although we are progressing it takes time and you need to remain patient. Let us work and do not interfere.
If you do not trust the people putting the effort - you can always find other projects to buy their coins, and in most cases even then, you will not be able to come with any demands to their team, even if in such cases some people actually benefit from people buying coins.

Lets stop with the useless remarks, complaints, demands, and so forth.

Are you joking??? The team has no investors! In this case here that means: nobody here did receive a single penny from you. So let me ask you straight: why should we "show responsibility" for you???

Man, literally every day a new fake "investor" pops up and tries to force us to work off his mental TODO map. Of course, every one of them has a different understanding of what has to be done next, or as you called it: a different understanding of the dev's "responsibility".

After a month we have probably collected about 30 different tasks from all these different "investors". Their justification is based only on the fake and wrong claim to be an "investor" while in fact for example you have not given anyone here anything! So you have NOT invested in us. The tasks/orders we get, by the way, range from road maps, over useless signal groups, frequent updates on what we do exactly, explaining the time spans where we do not code and report why (are you the STASI?), commenting the code on a daily basis even if just minor updates were made, making photos of ourselves ... all the way up to making some shilling twitter campaigns and other fake PR crap. I mean whyyyyyyy? You seriously don't believe that anyone here will do any of this, do you? I suspect, you want all this to either increase the worth of your portfolio or to better time your purchases and sales. If I am right, let me please ask you this: Why should we spend our time to help you improve your day trading performance? We are no investment consultants. And if we were investment consultants, we would not offer our service for free!

Please be honest to yourself! You don't really care if there is enough time to work on the code, do you? I mean, for you - I guess - it would be perfectly fine to spend 100% time on the fake "investors" demands (the twitter campaigns and flashy roadmap updates) and just drop the coding part entirely. Am I correct?  

Our goals are entirely different, just as you pick your actions based on your goals, please let us pick our actions based on our goals. Do not force us to work towards your goals! This won't work!

So some work is going on, It would be great if the team could be more transparent and give frequent updates on the progress of the project and Restore the updated Webpage. Team should show some responsibility towards its Investors

Hey there, I just stumbled on this project. I didnt hear about it before, just saw XEL sometimes on Coinmarketcap. Sounds really interesting and as it is around for some time now its seems legit! As Im interested in supercomputing, I would like to know if this project is in competition with projects like Golem and Sonm? Or is this something different? Sorry for the newbie questions and thanks in advance for the answers!

Ek do not fall for the trolls plan. They want to anger and upset you because they are threatened by your work. They want you to leave xel but you have true supporters and have much respect for you and cr and the work you do for this project. 

Your account smells like scam. This project is solid, we are happy that we have maybe the best crypto dev out there in this project. This project is unique and the people supporting are one of the oldest out here.

Not only good research but also good understanding of GitHub.
So far, everyone in this thread who was referring to the number of contributors probably didn't read the GitHub manual. Otherwise they would know that you can have 10000 people working on the code and still ending up with only one contributor showing up in that list; for example in the case, when 9999 of them use a commit email address that is not identical to the GitHub profile email address lol. This is getting ridiculous here, no idea how long I can endure this anymore.

Time will put everything in its place. We just need to hold and by deeps If someone doesn't believe in project - just sell you coins and leave. Everyone will be calmer

Why did Stellar's DEX removed the XEL? Was the volume low? Unbelievable that this has happened, people do not have the patience! XEL is a solid project, probably 10 to 16 months from now! Some people are forgetting the origin of XEL, the people here involved should owe nothing to anyone, they give their life, their time for it, no charges, please.
