Is there a roadmap or timeline for this project that defines the project goals and when they're expected to be reached?

I have invested  in the ico Elastic for long term last year. Always believe in tech not the hype and hold long term not for short gains. and Elastic haven't reached their full potential. So wait for that as it may take more 1-2 yrs.
Patient but rewarding in the end

I can't tell you all how excited I am about Elastic and the entire decentralized supercomputer mainnet.  Patience with this one.

Did someone just sell off 10 BTC worth of XEL because of this damn BTC rise? Ah god well looks like all alts are going to suffer now. If BTC hits that $8000 anyway.

Big things for XEL and other good alts in 2018 in my opinion.

10 BTC worth of XEL is a nice chunk of money. Maybe it would have been even a larger chunk of money if he left it in XEL Wink

No doubt, I definitely agree. Genius minds of the devs I'd rather hold this than BTC anyway. I can wait and hope for the best Smiley

Set your account's info or make an outgoing transaction!

ok, thx. How can i set my account's info? And did my account can be compromised? Do you think should i need to create a new one?

Use the button 'Info'

see here for more information (it's from NXT help, but XEL is based on the same technology)
https://nxtwiki.org/wiki/How-To:AnnouncePublicKey
https://nxtwiki.org/wiki/How-To:CreateAccount#Register_your_public_key

When sending NXT to a new account using the new account's address the resulting account is protected only by 64 bit account id which is somewhat weak and not by the 256 public key which provides ultimate protection.

[Edit] No need to create new account - you'll need to perform the same steps

thank you so much.

I've just send a few xel to my bittrex's deposit. Now my account is protected? That message is disappeared.
Is it possible that in this 24 hours somebody brute force my passphrase?

Thanks again!

I doubt it's possible - you're safe - don't worry  Smiley

Hi everyone, i've just created a new wallet and i want to withdraw my xel from bittrex on it.

I can't find a reception address...is it maybe my public key?

Thank you!

Your address starts with "XEL-..." and is located in the top left corner of the wallet, between elastic logo and the 4 buttons Info | Details | Copy | Redeem

thank you so much! it works! But sadly i need some more help.

Now i have this message on my wallet --> Warning: your account public key xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx has not been published to the blockchain. This means it is not as protected as other accounts. You must make an outgoing transaction to fix this issue. (Set account info, send a message, buy an alias, send XEL, ...)

What should i do?

Thanks again!

Looking to buy XEL PM me!

this seems strange: why don't you buy them in some exchange? Is it just a problem for you of registration (for example on bittrex...)

Maybe he wants to scam people?

But who would have send first to 3 activity newbie. I don't know really.

Maybe a scam, or maybe he wants to trade larger amount without the hassle of Bittrex's KYC.
In case of failed verification, there's no way to withdraw anything with brand new account.

Hi everyone, just to ask: lastest wallet version (for windows) is 3.1.1? Onthe first page i see a link only for linux version, so i don't know if, for windows, there is a newer release.

edit: an other question:

can i login to my wallet both via client wallet and browser wallet?

Thanks a lot!
windows release here: https://github.com/unvo1d/Elastic-XEL-Litewallet/releases
XEL wallet runs local instance, GUI runs always thru browser..

Thanks a lot man.
Do you think is more safe to use local wallet? I don't know, is more simple to steal my key if i log thru the browser?

edit: just an other question: my public key is my withdraw address?

ri-edit: and why, when i login my wallet, appears a message that say that i'm almost on a fork?

another cool project i been watching with QRL. the dips now should shoot back up once BTC goes back to its erratic state.

I'm in both XEL and QRL. According to TA, QRL should have started to rise significantly a few days ago. It seems whenever elastic or quantum goes up, people sell off their bags being afraid of losing even more money in case of another dip. Both of them are close to ATL - it's just a matter of time... Soon the whales will have bought the dip and off we go  Kiss

I just got in again:) Chart looks hela dope. Last time I bought it was just before pump to 9k. I love elastic Cheesy
It does not always work the way you want. This time can be all different. The project itself clearly deserves attention. But the price I think this time of year does not give a large growth period is not very suitable for this. And then everything else will fall into more than just price and then you can buy.
