Maybe Spexx's doesn't handle multi processors well?

On a single X5570 system:

Testz compiled v1.1 : 45 Kh/s
DeMarcus v0921 generic : crashes (needs a CPU with AES support?)
Spexx : 50 Kh/s

EDIT : confirmed on a few other servers that DeMarcus's crashes if there's no AES-NI capable CPU present and Spexx's only utilises half the available hashing power in a dual CPU machine.

Some quick mining benchmarks:

On a machinewith 2 x Xeon E5620, 16 threads. Same .bat for each.

Testz compiled v1.1 : 80 Kh/s
DeMarcus v0921 generic : 89 Kh/s
Spexx : 42 Hh/s

Something weird is happening with Spexx's version. If I run another instance simultaneously it picks up to a combined total of ~70 Kh/s.

However idk how nethashrate can be under 40MH/s when both pools have around 40.

Yeah I spotted this earlier and was puzzled. I notice now the nethashrate is 160 Mh/s with suprnova and noncepool together only accounting for around 90 Mh/s where before they accounted for almost 100% of the nethashrate. Something is afoot.

@joelao95
Exactly those miners that should stay are slowly stop mining.
Only 2 guys with over 10H/s are more then half of rate that you are targeting and they seems are going to stay.

Also, why pools rewarding blockfinders?

edit: Nice. Nethashrate under 40 and those both guys stays and well rewarded by pool.
However idk how nethashrate can be under 40MH/s when both pools have around 40.

Looking at the current net hashrate my guess is that the big operator just don't care and settle with 5 XMG per block, price might adjust if it becomes more scarce this way...in theory.

The idea was nice but maybe a bit too idealistic i guess  Undecided

Coin of the Magi!
whats up with payments, they are pretty piss poor atm......

Jumping around (seen up to 300 XMG/block), let's see what happened in next few days; miners, please don't miss the big block rewarding time.

should i leave pool mining with my 40khs ?

I hope you can continue the mining; if you have less mining rewards, the others will have the same earnings. Also I suggest to use the referral link (VPS mining guide in the OP) to get free credits for VPS (basically two VPS a month, that is about 20~Kh/s).

hello ,i download   pool-cpuminer.  But found virus in it ~how can i do? help me!

Read the thread please, you will find the answer.
If i had more time i would like to do it for you.

Please tell me which thread of it. I compiled some times .All be detected virus in it. i'm worry about it

Do not worry about it. All miner programs will be detected by Anti Virus software as a "Potentially Unwanted Program" (PUP), which is the correct classification. Unfortunately, some types of virus/malware incorporate a coin miner as part of the malware payload, so this gets detected by the anti-virus software engines. One or two anti-virus products may identify a miner program as a "trojan" but this is a mis-classification or "false positive" detection. For example, my Windows 64 bit compilation generates a report at VirusTotal:-

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/0dd643672f363863217e295c319e41929f4ad4bd998a424e41e3935524378cd6/analysis/

You can see from this that 5 out of 55 anti-virus engines used by VirusTotal are triggered. Two of them correctly identify the program as a 64 bit bitcoin miner variant, another two of them identify it as a 32 bit miner, while one of them identifies it as a trojan. Miners are not malware, but can certainly be considered as "Potentially Unwanted Programs" if the user does not want their machine used as a coin miner. In our case, we definitely want our machines used as coin miners Smiley

Block explorer and rich list:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg

Please be aware that #1 in the rich list is the coin swap wallet.

Cool. I'm in the top 20 rich list!

I bought my way into the top 20 list for 0.07 BTC.

I need to grab a lot more of these at 4000. You people are silly for selling to me so low.

The price is ridiculously low compared with the effort mining takes...

I have a nice 8 core CPU which managed to mine about 8 coins today. Buying coins is definitely the way to go right now. I don't know why I'm tell you all this. I guess I'm just too nice. I should keep it a secret so I can keep buying without competition.
