when someone develops "pugin cpuminer" with m7m algo, then you can connect to my pool.
Or you can make your pool accept http connections instead of stratum, then we can use the existing standalone miner.

I was running minerd on the server and I have now switched that to the wallet for mining.
This is why I consfused, I had downloaded the right win wallet, but why I am not in the right chain?
