[A quick survey]

I've literally manipulated multiplication and division of hashes, which can be repeated any many times as desired. The more repeating, the lower hash rate, which also means less probable of GPU miner as I understand. Only deficiency is the less hash rate making hashing being hard. Let me know if you have any concerns or have something in mind.

I would personally suggest to continue the "repeating", to lower the probability of GPU mining being possible. Then, this would be a true "CPU-only" coin Smiley

Agreed  Smiley

But don't make it too difficult to mine with cpu

Do you have an estimate when launching ? 2 hours ? 6 hours ? 12 or 24 ?

time I have in mind is tomorrow, but do hope won't be rush any more; so I'll need to confirm people are comfortable with the windows stuffs, and then set up the countdown

And while people are waiting in front of the computer, over and over again and never see that spear is depressing, stop playing with users.

Sorry for this newbie question I just compiled the MagiCoin wallet from this Git I found on the http://cryptomagic.com/get-started/download-wallets.htm site.
I am using the following git repo https://github.com/magicoin/magicoin.git

It compiled OK but I get No block source available...22 weeks behind in the status bar, so was wondering if this link is accidentally the first launch of MagiCoin?  If so that git source link needs to be changed on the main site so there is no confusion.
It says version v1.1.0.0 in the Help|About MagiCoin.

Thanks!

That's the wrong page, not for XMG. Pls watch this thread, I will upload stuffs, and modify the OP.

Ahhh no wonder thanks Joe.  Cheesy

This turns out to be how stupid things I've been on. The miner was actually working before I went to sleep this morning. Because of a very tiny error, few hours were spent to track the source. Anyway, here below is a screen shot:

The is for cygwin mining on windows, and I am about to post a guide for setting it up. In the same time, I will ask testz for help a standalone window compilation; collecting all of stuffs and uploading for all of you to test it out.

good job dev

Great work!
Magicoin XMG a fair coin, wants a fair launch.
Now launch comes closer !!! Cool
