Hello guys

Anyone know what happened to this pool ?? (http://104.207.149.217/index.php)
I have my coins there and I can not withdraw them

Looks like goldlabel is using that pool according to the stats - maybe goldlabel can help or advise if its working?

Code:
A scheduled hard fork targeting at improving decentralization: 1) securing the PoW network further (mPoW: magi's PoW); 2) refining PoS staking (mPoS: magi's PoS); and 3) a network bridging mPoW and mPoS (mTron).

Is there going to be any changes on how pow works? The bigger the total hashrate, the smaller block reward system stays the same?

It is expected some changes to the former, but the latter as an overall principle stays the same; the baseline implementation lies in not switching things off the line but gets the efficiency improved. By the way, welcome back.
Thanks Joe.
It's nice to be back Wink

Look at Bittrex, price is lower (in sats, not in $) and bids are growing, doubled today.
(from 9 btc into almost 21 btc today, left side)
Is there a new pump incoming or are people waiting for getting a cheaper coins.
21 btc? Thats more than double! Don't know the reason.
Think people are waiting for little price drop and than....

The Bitcoin value is very nice and we know XMG coin of Magi will rise even more.
How do we keep the thiefs out of our wallets, whats the best why OR whats the best wallet Huh

Best option is to use a paper wallet - or at least store a wallet.dat offline on a USB stick (and multiple backups) with a very secure password
Yes that would be a smart thing to do and for sure remember were you put the usb stick.

I'm more interested in knowing how PoS-II compares with Ouroboros, specifically with respect to what they consider to be a fundamental design challenge.

"The PoS Design challenge. A fundamental problem for PoS-based blockchain protocols is to
simulate the leader election process. In order to achieve a randomized election among stakeholders,
entropy must be introduced into the system, and mechanisms to introduce entropy may be manipulated
by the adversary. For instance, independently of the solution, an adversary controlling
a set of stakeholders may choose to simulate the protocol execution trying different sequences of
stakeholder participants so that it finds a favorable chain continuation that biases the leader election.
To prevent this manipulation, honest stakeholders must be able to add sufficient entropy and
counter any lookahead performed by the adversary.
" - https://iohk.io/research/papers/#9BKRHCSI

I'm no coder, but I can read and understand the basics as well as comprehend the theoretical, and it seems to me that PoS-II does a very good job of addressing this "fundamental challenge". I'm hoping for serious treatment of the subject, which I think would also put PoS-II in a very favorable light.

MAGI's PoS implementation is based on modifying the coin age, and most of other PoS improvements play around this as well. The section "# PoS-II-V2" on https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.9991269 is center of what's been done.

Thanks for the document. I am not able to read it through all at this time but will do. I do expect some serious and fundamental improvements would be done to make the PoS better.
Sounds great Joe. Looking forward to it.
100% trust you can do it!

Coin of the Magi!
I saw a tweet about xmg on poswallet a couple weeks ago and deposited my coins, I earned nearly 500 xmg from pool staking over 5 days (what black magic is this) they then remove almost all the coins including magi.
So I guess what I'm saying is y'all got any more of that pool staking somewhere?

That sounds suspicious given APR ~ 3.3%.
