I will give you acces to a virtual machine when we get the new phi card so you can play around. Hopefuly we will get one @ the relase sometime this year

I found rumors about a drop-in CPU replacement version of the Xeon Phi, but did not find anything official regarding release dates, technical specs, hardware or OS compatibility etc. Could be a very interesting chip, although likely to be priced outside my range lol.

I can have a look and give you an opinion at least. I know that current compiler support is very poor so I am not sure what they have done to address that. I will post back here after I have done some research.

This question came up before several months ago.

Unfortunately those cards are co-processors and are seen by the operating system as peripheral devices (like GPUs), not CPUs. You would need mining software adapted and compiled for those co-processors and I am pretty sure that nobody has done that yet with the M7M algorithm.

That CPU should be capable of around 70 Kh/s and is certainly worthwhile.

The right program depends on what operating system you are using. Links for mining software are found in the OP at https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-xmg-magi-cpu-mining-mpow-mpos-magipay-735170 but if you need any specific help just post again here and we will do our best to assist.

None of the available pools are "best" as such, but if you join the Proof of Mining Campaign and mine on Coinmagi pool you will get an extra bonus.
