When xwc up again?

Unfortunately no, the coin swap that had to happen means that, as you put it "old toilet wallet"s are not compatible with the current network.

The period for swapping to the current network occurred over a year ago now.

XWC has a good idea and they have been insisting on it. I believe XWC will develop better and better in the future.

Yeah that's the fundamental problem we've had and the reason we are doing the update.

As of 1st of June at 22:00 UTC it will be fixed. Until then you may get a stake but it is unlikely.

On the upside blocks will now we worth 5XWC instead of 2.

Not receiving rewards, it unlocks but won't stake. It stuck forever on "7 minutes until block reward..."

When you say does not stake, the wallet won't unlock for staking? Or you're not receiving any block rewards?

Whitenode version 0.3.1 released! Improved GUI and compatible with the Whitecoin update



The Whitecoin team are pleased to announce we have released an updated version of Whitenode to v0.3.1 with an upgraded GUI and a version 2.5.1.0 wallet which is compatible with our June 1st update.

Please remember to always back up your wallet.dat file or transfer your coins to another wallet before performing the Whitenode update.

Changes included in the v0.3.1 release

• Disable SSH by default, can be enabled by placing a file called “ssh” in /boot/ or through USB.

Mandatory Wallet Update v2.5.0.0

We have released the mandatory Whitecoin wallet v2.5.0.0 for the upcoming blockchain update

This release contains both the fix to the staking issue which will become active on the 1st of June 2018 at 22:00 UTC as well as an increase of our staking reward from 2 XWC per block to 5 XWC per block

The new wallet is available for Windows, OS X and Linux systems. You can find the compatible wallet for your platform here:

Hello Whitecoin community,

We have two important dates to keep you informed about:

Whitecoin blockchain update

The update will occur on the 1st of June 2018 at 22:00 UTC

We have chosen this time as it allows us the time to finalise the updates to our wallet and Whitenode, which we expect to have released by the end of this week. It also allows ample time for you the end user to update to the new client, more importantly though it allows us the time for platforms which support Whitecoin to update and provides the necessary time for good communication with these platforms on their status and to address any potential issues which do arise.

We do understand that everybody would like this problem fixed quickly and the team recognise this. We think that it is vital to be diligent and allow the necessary time to ensure everything is in working order.

Whitecoin logo contest end time and date

On the lighter side of things, the Whitecoin logo contest will end on the 31st of May 2018 at 23:59 UTC

We have seen a fantastic response so far to the logo competition with a range of logos gaining support.
