Link to the bug? I made the fork off of Zcash 1.0.1 which has these fixes. I assume we'll just pull in whatever fixes they make.

there's likely some firewall on the LAN I connect from, but I'm having no issues with ZEC pools. The main difference seems the port: 6041 instead of 2142. Would it be possible to open that one as well?
