yes, cause the setup MOBO + CPU + RAM + SSD, cost something.

That will be better to have as less "main setup pack" as possible.

So I would go the most powerfull ones.

LGA 775 Mobo+CPU+ DDR2 RAM are quite cheap. You dont have to use SSD either.
Ok it is much faster but a very cheap HDD will work as well for the rig.

I dont say these are negligible costs but they base cost can be very minimal.

I also prefer powerful gpu as well though. Fewer cards. Easier to manage.

Which is the most profitable gpu to mine?

I have some gtx 970 and i think they get the most kHs/Watt.

1120 kHs - 105Watts. Price: 150€ ~ 170/180$ (Second Hand)

And on the other hand you have:

GTX 1080Ti: 3100kH/s - 150Watts. Price: 780€ ~ 800/900$ (New)

GTX 1080: 2200kH/s - 120Watts. Price: 520€ ~ 610-650$ (New)

GTX 1070: 1600kH/s - 100Watts. Price: 420/460€ ~ 500/550$ (New)

Instead of buying one gtx 1070 you could get 3 GTX 970 and get the hashrate of the GTX 1080Ti for half the price...

yea but the thing is u hawe 3 shit cards taking 3 slots if u could hawe one good taking 1 slot dooh

Even if you don't have to worry about wattage, what about the costs involved in
  • motherboard with more slosts
  • power supplies
  • floor/shelf/case space
  • heat and noise?

Not kHs/Watt, but kHs/price.

I get these:

1080Ti - 3000-3150kH - 120-130W (https://i.imgur.com/h7ZtWBi.jpg)
1070 - 1700-1750kH - 70-80W (https://i.imgur.com/DjRFU19.jpg)

Hi zcoiners Wink

We have made a custom ccminer that won't loose share anymore.

Having almost same hashrate on the ccminer and on the reported hashrate on pools (works on miningpoolhub and suprnova just fine)

If interested MP me.

Selling this miner for 0.02 BTC

Screenshot taken with (21 x 1070 nvidia) (2x 7 gpu rig + 1x 6 gpu rig + 1x 1 gpu test rig)

power comsuption is 1850w (for all of these, out of the wall hardware monitoring)

And by the way, This coin is the best to mine @ the moment, as it really doesn't suck lot of power like most of the others.
It's really a nice coin to mine, best profit, best power sucking rate, pretty stable in the income (trending growing on long therm)

a  over 12 hour Graphs snapshot should have more persuasion

BTW. i think the ccminer cuda9 version is good enough solving MPH lost hashrate issue.

Well no way near the result we have with our MOD.

I will post a 12hours graph in few hours.

I'm switching to suprnova as well. More people need to move over. Performance is much better.

I swotched yesterday on suprnova and i get 30% more hash rate 👍👍👍
Very excited, it's working excellent until now ...

Anybody knows why getting this rejects on suprnova?

That's fine, it's a new block and the old shares from the previous around have invalid - therefore the boo's

After updating to the latest git version, the daemon prompted me to -reindex the database. Since then it's been stuck on block 54396.

With only 1 Ghs Suprnova is doing great!! Come on join us, the Luck is on our side, the Reported speed is ~15% more then on MPH + The latest CCminer 2.2.2 has special option for Suprnova!!
Quote
--submit-stale parameter for supernova pool (which change diff too fast)
Pls come and join more, I don't understand why CCminer users are not mining @ Suprnova- is much better for us!.
Come for 24Hrs and see your Graph and compare against MPH and see What I mean!
https://s1.postimg.org/1i4dqobk3z/super.jpg

I'm currently mining on MPH because I don't know how to mine XZC on Suprnova.  Can you provide a link and info to get me started?  I see two available pools listed on Suprnova for Z coin, and neither of them work (maxminers and poll.mn).

I'm averaging less than 6000kh/s realized while my rig is a consistent 9700kh/s+.

just change the bat configuration file. ccminer-x64 -a lyra2z -o stratum+tcp://xzc.suprnova.cc:1569 -u username.workername -p x  -i 19

Edit: Thank you.  I think I have it figured out now.  So far, it looks much more rewarding that MPH.

I'm switching to suprnova as well. More people need to move over. Performance is much better.

Hi again, is the development of the Zcoin market already under way? Or is that just an untouched item on the roadmap so far? Thank you.
Dunno where you see "market" in their roadmap. Are you sure you are talking about ZCoin and not some other coin?
Or maybe I'm blind but I don't find anything on zcoin.io roadmap

Balanced- yes, but like all sad before me- the reported hashrate with ccminer- even the latest 2.2.2 is higher then MPH + there is no fee on Suprnova.
Well, ok, maybe you are right Smiley
