I have a Zcoin QT Core wallet version 0.14.0.5-4c7291cdb (64-bit). I just installed Firo but it is mnemonic words based and the Zcoin Core wallet was not. Do I have to send coins from the old Zcoin wallet to new Firo wallet to get them in the new wallet?
Did you try inplace upgrade over the last available Zcoin QT wallet?

Very disapointing too : in the Zcoin forum, the community was clearly not for this rebranding.
I was asking about this on Discord, because IMO it's very important to speak with the community, even for centralized project and specially for decentalized, but they told me there was talk about this:Actually - there were discussions about the need to rebrand for well over a year - the final name was chosen by the team - since every time they tried to do it by consensus on the forum some idiot would buy the domain name and spoil any plans. I already told zcoin/firo is scam since two months ago when the price dumped to 43000 satoshi and also saying more mega dump incoming but alot of people attack me , they said me woke up from 2 years account to make false accusition and gave me negative feedbacks , now enjoy your lelantus privacy coin , have a nice day ✌guys
