Bittrex is allowing wallet withdrawals now if anyone of you wants to get your coins off the exchange.

Thanks to Wolf0 for making this possible.

Great! Any chance to get the coins out of NovaExchange too...? I'll open a ticket with them, but would be great if they are asked by Devs too!

I agree with the above too. Gary Le should go ahead with xzc classic. Good luck to XZC and XZC Classic. Let us get back to discussing MTP development again Smiley

Justifying one, unique altcoin among all of the others is a tough prospect, so two makes no sense. Really hate this 'classic' bandwagoning.

@ERossin:

It depends how u define who the 'owner' is. Is the person who wrote all the code and co-founder of the coin the owner? Or the person who entered into all the agreements with investors and received all the initial funding for the coin, the owner?

Why bittrex have Wallet Maintenance .

Today Bittrex no longer accept adding fund in XZC ! Bad news

Bittrex wallet info doesn't say they no longer accept adding funds, it just says it's in maintenance which is normal knowing what's happening with the coin fork.

is there any other exchange accepting now XZC so i can sell my coins before the price goes down ?

Without getting into personal attacks or specifics in the spirit of keep things civil:

There's been a major disagreement between the two co-founders of the coin Poramin Insom (Lead Dev and Co-Founder) and Gary Le (Co-Founder) as to the direction of the coin and as to how funding is being utilised.

Poramin has done 100% of the coding for Zcoin and will continue to maintain Zcoin at the current github at (https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin). The new website will be at zcoin.finance, the @zcoinofficial twitter at https://twitter.com/zcoinofficial and the BCT thread and Telegram chat room will remain the same.

Gary has started his own Github of the coin forked from Poramin's version at (https://github.com/zcoinproject/zcoin) and will retain control of the Twitter @zcoinproject, Reddit and Zcoin.tech domain.

The differences between the two for the moment will be in as to who the founder's reward is distributed to. Further details can be obtained from our slack at https://zcoinofficial.slack.com and get yourself an invite at http://invite.zcoin.finance:3000/

All coins prior to the fork will be recognized by both Poramin's and Gary's versions of Zcoin so if you maintain both wallets, you will get coins in both. As to who will the exchanges and pools will recognize, that is yet to be seen and we will keep you posted on updates. I understand that Gary's version will contain some modifications as well to his founder's reward from the existing one so exchanges and pools cannot just be stagnant with the current version and will have to make a choice between the two.

If you wish to support Poramin's version of the coin, you can obtain the updated release at https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/releases.

Thank you for your patience in the matter and I will continue to update you guys on any news here! I know it's a frustrating and tough rode but we believe some short term sacrifices are necessary for the long term growth of the coin. Thank you!

It's me Reuben and I'm speaking on Poramins behalf Smiley I have been controlling this thread since I took the community manager position. To go into the details of the split would involve a lot of public mud flinging so after speaking to Gary,  we agreed not to do that.

The respective slacks are always there for people to read and make their own conclusions and a lot of info is out there already for people who really want to know.

Ok this is bad news. But the project continues its march forward! And I still think that the project is of high quality. It was better that it happened now. The project starts quickly on a good basis!

It's actually good news. We got rid of the biggest dumper who does nothing beside dumping.

Please guys, stop fighting about the 'right' and 'wrong' dev and fork, just create a new fork, for example xzc classic and remove Gary's founder address from this one while removing poramins founder address from the other fork and upload this into new github repositorys.

Currently you're self destructing the coin by the low info that's flowing to the miners... No one knows what's happening to bittrex etc..  Miners / Pools and the community need final info and plans

Why xzc classic ? XZC continues to be the original one. Gary didn't do anything and he forked the original git to his new repo. He even stated that he continues to steal Poramin' work by pulling the code from the original git. Gary' version should be the classic one.
