I am trying to mine zero with three GTX1070 gpus using optiminer zero 1.2, on Windows.
The miner works for about 10-12 min (or even less time) and then it stops mining.
I am using miner-entry pool, if this is relevant.
These are the lines that usually show up:

[2017-11-21 11:13:54.345] [info] [GPU1]  4.8 I/s 11.4 S/s (5s) 5.0 I/s 9.7 S/s (1m)

[2017-11-21 11:13:58.244] [info] Press any key to exit application.

I have tried different gpu settings (default or overclocked core and memory clocks) and different optiminer pci-modes (zero up to three) as well as the experimental-kernel setting without any luck.
The miner either hangs or produces the above message.
On the same rig, I have two AMD RX cards which I use to mine on a different instance of the miner, using the -c switch. These run without any problems.

Any ideas? I mean, besides switching to ethos?

Any chance to run out of memory? RAM or GPU? The ram at least you can monitor.. I think i have the ram problem on linux too..

What cards do you run in your rigs? Nvidia or AMD? I think that the problem relates to the Nvidia cards/drivers, since the miner that runs the AMD cards has no problems.

Just went through this on Linux rig. After trying everything including swapping hardware and a couple of clean installs, it turned out that driver 384.98 fixes a couple of bugs. In my case it was the way the card interfaces with the CPU. Run 384.98 and see what happens

I am with 384.98 and having almost same problems...

I run Optiminer for Windows and driver 388.31. There is no driver 394.98 for Windows, the closest ones to the version you mentioned are 384.94, 385.12 and 385.28.
I will give them a try.

Funny thing, I realized thanks to your post is that two of the nvidia cards were running driver 384.38 and the third one the latest driver 388.31. Now I 've updated them all and will do some tests, thanks for the suggestion.

I'd like to mine this coin, but I can't see to figure out what's going on with the Windows wallet. Does anyone have a status update on a Windows wallet? How soon will we have a windows wallet for easy download?

I understand the necessity of a Windows Wallet and this will be done very soon
There is one you can use in Linux though if you can work with Linux?

We can't give a specific date currently and even if there was a specific date i don't think we should reveal it.
Since a Windows wallet would affect greatly the price (and people would try to profit from the increase in price) we wish to avoid any speculation

It is better to come as a surprise, one day you will wake up and there will be a fully working Windows wallet Smiley

Is there a way to run a Linux wallet on my Windows PC? Sorry for the noob question, but if it's possible, I'm all for it.

hi folks,

it is not a problem, install virtualbox
then download ubuntu as an image

paste ubuntu into virtualbox and install
then you can install the linux wallet as usual
the best thing is, you can then export the entire linux installation with your wallet and save it on usb stick as a backup

virtualbox offers the function to export and import the complete installation with all installed programs
and you already have a backup

If you change your computer, just reinstall your exported virtualbox linux system

best regards

happy mining

Hi all, following the project,

can help a little with graphics and ideas,

The slack link seems obsolete, and might be great to redesign the thread soon,

here is a few ideas i have been playing with for branding / Zero visuals... (QR Code should redirect to this bitcointalk thread)

Drop me a PM if you need anything,  Cheesy

Don't think that ethos works like a charm Smiley

Compare the graphs:

http://zero.forgetop.com/address?t=t1RinhfQ2Ni7U6GQiK4P6be5RLRW5vPCZo2

Both rigs work on ethos. The bigger one create me so much troubles that you can't imagine (as is visible on the graph).
The other one may work months on zero, no problem at all. I don't have any explanation about the differences  then the number of cards. After working for 5 hours the rig runs out of memory and I can't even  open a ssh connection, so I had to set it up on auto reboot for each 4 hrs...

BTC

zero.forgetop.com is waiting for you Dear miners!

And remember - the best profit not always come necessarily with big pools. Most of the time having a big share cut is a lot more profitable than that.
The only way to find out is to give it a try!
Start your engine miners!

GOOD LUCK

Lutsifer,

I've been mining on your pool for about 24 hrs. and I have a little feed back.

1. I've noticed that the individual miner stats page seems to have a little trouble reporting my workers. It keeps cycling between my workers and the other miners with multiple rigs running. Specifically I keep seeing workers minko & ginko, then rig1 & rig2 (mine are also rig1 & rig 2, but the sol/s don't match) and then my rigs.

2. I would like to see a way to change the payout rate in order to minimize transaction fee cost. I'd prefer getting my coins say once a day rather than on every block.

Thanks for the pool. So far I'm making more coins than I was on supernova.

#1 has been cleared out!

Thank you again!
