Whats the total supply of zoi?

21 millions. It would be around 12 millions after the first 6 months.

This is not true, this coins source is based on XZC's source where a big error in the code allowed "hackers" to create an arbitrary number of coins for themselves using malicious zerospend transactions.

https://zcoin.io/zcoins-zerocoin-bug-explained-in-detail/

You can't really tell how much coins where maliciously generated, until you do some investigations with the block explorer but probably a lot Smiley
Hi ocminer,
i have gone throw the block explorer block by block from the date of the where the hack was announced.
I guarantee that there no abuse and Zoin is totally safe from the hack of double spending.

After the new release made the 23 Mars the bug was fixed.

And another release is scheduled for May the first.

Can you regard reopen your Pool for ZOI again.
Best Regards
Spirea

I don't read code but the exploit has since been fixed on 28th March release right?
https://github.com/zoincoin/zoin/releases

At time of bug, ZOIN was 'dead' with a CAP of a few thousand so it's less likely it was exploited than Zcoin & Zcoin now has a valuation of $15 million despite that.

Myself used Zoin to test the exploit actually  because it wasn't fixed and if you check the block explorer, or rather the log files of the daemon you see lots of zero transactions (coinspends) before suddenly someone 'fixed' it by disabling the zeromints at all. The 'half dead' state was actually the best thing to happen for exploiters as you could test everything possible with very low difficulty and no one sniffing in the logs Smiley

Okay, crypto is a gamble and you should never invest what you can't afford to lose, I wish you all the best with this coin I just wanted to point out (again, if you check back my posts in this thread)  that there is at least some caution needed when playing with this coin.

Thanks. Yes I am gambling that the devs will deliver something in 5/6 days that will make the ZOIN relevant and gambling that while the exploit was easy to test it was not heavily used (or sold coins generated only a few cents) because Zoin had <$2 daily volume at the time.

But I do appreciate the information as I did not know it before & you are exactly right that people should not risk more than they can lose.

Zoin is more strong than Zcoin, nobody exploited Smiley

Pool is down, there is panic between users, dump dump dump all you can ...

Can't wait until all these noobs who think just because they can mine they know wtf they're doing in crypto.  They are the one's who destroy these projects.  Not so much devs as they wants you to think.  if you don't have an update every 5 mins it's a scam.  If you don't give them all the premine it's a scam.  If it's not on Polo it's a scam (or the exchange they use).

Grrrrr....go away you little thugs!
Well first of all I have to laugh about what you write here, my post was only because people write that pool is down, what do we do now? and do not realize that miners are ok and thay are mining zoin. And second I am here in this thread much longer so I know about it much more. So calm down.. Wink

I made a suggestion for a new logo in Nov 2016. You are still welcome to use it.

I think it is a more standalone, attractive, and formal design than the existing logo, please let me know what you guys think.
Besides a good code etc. is design and communication also a key to make a currency to a succes.

The Zoin team is welcome to use it! Of course any donation is welcome: ZETz4h4WCrAMpJSTmnrMnrkaEZGvdCkAnJ

Thanks for the reply guys. I am absolutely fine with the extension .ml i just find it a little strange haha. I would have done zoincoin.com or .org

But is there only one person behind the new release or is there a whole team?

But guys one question, why is .ml used for the website haha, that is domain name from Mali

zoin.ml is short, easy to remember and contains "zoin" as the main and only part of domain name

extension ".ml" belongs to Mali is absolutely normal, nothing is wrong with that. You may know that a lot of startup companies pick their domain with extension .io, which belongs to British Indian Ocean Territory (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.io).

Hope this answer your question.

zoin.com .net .org .io .me already registered

Zoin.tv is free Cheesy

And lot of web use .tv  extension for domain
