Well my miner is not able to connect to pool, so that is strange.

Because pool closed until i fix it.

Anyone tests Influence of memory channels or increasing ram frequency on hashrate(lyra2)?
Maybe somebody know about existing of cpu mining comparison.It will be fine to compare lyra2 alg with amd zen, new intel cpu and older.

I have the same problem: Can't pass the block 27981, using the compiled version in Ubuntu 15.04.

With the passing of blocks of 27981-29000 there were also problems.
Try to use a full blockchain zoin-blockchain-170328.zip (https://github.com/zoincoin/zoin/releases/tag/v0.8.7.5)
In the near future we will release a patch and update the source.

Any guide to solo mining?
Mined a lot when it was on pools but now i dont know how to mine it, and want to give it a try.
I have more than 1 pc, so i need to setup rpc to receive external connections right? Little lost here, any help or link would be a great help.

I am not using linux wallet, but I think that adding nodes to zoin.conf should be just fine.
