Hey AsiaCoin dev, to learn some lessons from WhiteCoin, I have some questions for you:
  • Which coin is AsiaCoin cloned from? (I'm asking so we can make a diff on source code and see if it is not a scam as WC originally was - needs fork now)
  • Why don't you post info and updates, some good news, etc, more frequently?

Thank you. I'm a big AC supporter and bag holder and want to be sure we don't see the disaster WC is seeing. I want to make sure you are not the same person as WC 'dev' was.

I would love to buy more AC now. My average price is around 1300 at the moment. But I have already used all my BTC Sad.
Very same. I have 7.6btc in.
Bought 1900, 1600, 1000, 900, 800, 600, ... sold less then bought, re-bought, dumped and panic bought, lost some money, now have 564K ~ 1347 sats. I think, i need 440000@600 to get down the average price to 1000, hoping, it warrants it, definitely, price will fly at 1000-1200 all next week.

DEV Launches MultiPool will mining other coins and will pay in AC
we all have to mining there to raise the price  Wink

after 2 week the price will be 0.001  Wink

http://ac.pool.mn pool has been under massive DDoS attack, the server went down and after reboot wallet.dat file of the pool is not accessible, deamon gives the following error:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
what():  CDB() : can't open database file wallet.dat, error 12
If anyone can help restore private-keys from the file please write to me or to the pool's email. Reward for help!
I was able to recover the wallet. If any of you guys end up with such a problem do the following:
- check db.log file
- if you see the following line: "unable to allocate memory for mutex; resize mutex region"
- create DB_CONFIG file in datadir folder and set: mutex_set_max 100000 or something bigger

Run deamon

People:  go check what happened to whitecoin today... A massive, maybe the biggest scam in the history of crypto ? Devs gone, coin fork needed, PoS not working, bad wallets, trading halted at some exchanges, price plummeting... A roller coaster.

I'm really glad we are with AC, and we seem to have decent devs that stick around...  !!

fingers crossed our PoS really works.... Wink

Doesn't the dev test the PoS part out on testnet and makes sure it's working before releasing this?

Of course,we have tested the POS,it  worked.

There were rumors that WC comes from China.  there have a lot of scam crypto from China. I'm also from China, but I never invest coins that made in China.

BTW: I heard the YC also  came from China.  Grin

Looking forward to POW ending soon!

Looks like the Dev has a solid plan. We just need to support all efforts and get the word out. Definitely a large gain to be had with this coin. I for one will keep holding, so there are a fair amount of coins that will not be in circulation for a while Smiley

Still keen for someone to compile a rich list to give me something to aim for Wink

TO MARS!!

Regarding a middle-long term future, how you think will respond this coin to all the asic-scrypt-miners-titan-jupiter-neptune-what-a-fuck-alien-new-tech that will come?

btw: this coin has really a fantastic community; i couldn't stop myself from buying some AC! awesome  Wink

I don't think he's trolling. Just being honest, and wanting some real developments. We need more guys like this to come back, buy more coins and be part of our community. Not piss them off.

I hope you come back Alty, buy some more cheap coins and be part of the building efforts on this thread.

Alty is a trader, not a community builder. There is no need to be negative and shoot down ideas that leads to infrastructure building around AC.

Traders buy/sell coins based on potential of future growth or increase in value. I do agree with Alty pointing out that while a USB wallet is a good effort in developing the AsiaCoin, it is not a key development like a multipool. For any currency to go mainstream, there need to be an eco-system to utilise it. The economy only starts spinning when people are using the coin. Without usage, I can hold a million AC and it won't do any good. It will be great if we can see more merchants adopting AsiaCoin. It won't be easy especially when it is already an uphill battle getting merchants onto Bitcoin and Litecoin.

I have exciting news for you!

I'm working on an AsiaCoin USB Wallet!

Are you interested in this:

It will come preloaded with the AsiaCoin wallet software. All you do is plug it in your usb drive and the wallet is there ready to load!

Let me know if you are interested so I can figure out the best way to make it possible!

Thanks!

Wow, like I don't already have that capability to have a wallet on my computer.

Come up with something original rather than this constant drivel of shit nobody cares about.

It's for your own good.
I would rather have a wallet that has an update button and tells me i need to update. If you could put it on a usb stick that would be fine too...

Fair comment. If that's the case I stand corrected.
