Well I was mining just fine at http://ac.pool.mn/  this morning, then it looks like they blocked my ip around 10 am. Can't even sign in to retrieve my coins. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah mining this coin is a little weird right now. Estimated time for round to end for payout is 23 hours 47min. WTF? They should reduce the payouts and make the block sizes much smaller for faster payouts. Who wants to wait 24 hours for payouts? Especially if the coin starts getting pumped and you want to get into the action. May go back to dogecoin and just buy the damn coin while it's still cheap. The blocks are all over the place. Normally per round it's around 270,000 shares. This block is 729,000 and climbing! They definately have to work on the blocks. I've already seen workers abandon the pool I'm on because they don't want to wait days for a few coins.

I'm on this btw:

http://ac.poolest.com/

Seems like a nice site but not enough workers as they've run after 8 hours of mining with not so much as a coin to their name.

I agree.  I wish we had more hash, but we've been finding blocks on average with less than 50% of the expected shares, so the miners who were mining with us when we found the blocks got paid more than double what they would have been paid on a larger pool.  I hope we stay this lucky, because it will be worth the wait.

EDIT: Payout period just went up to 29 hours 24 minutes. Mining will be dead(and so will the coin) on this coin if they don't reduce the block sizes.

If this coin is so hard to mine, then why can you buy it for 0.00000718 on exchange?  Undecided

Can I buy 1 million AC at that price??

mined this coin for 8 hours or so,
no block in the pool
not even 1 coin since block increased.
3MH/S
given up on this coin.

Try here: http://ac.pool.mn/

I have only one GPU and already have some coins confirmed.

That pool has a large hashrate - spread them to smaller pools - when a block is found you will be very happy Smiley
I switched to http://asiacoin.miners-pool.com/ - when we find a block we get a handsome reward

thx dude
some more like 100 mh/s or 200 mh/s would be nice...10miner x 10mh/s 100mh ..its not much dudes...

Be mercy on the little Pools

only to spread...

I know there is a way but I don't know how to figure it out:

Now that block rewards are 10k per block how can you figure out what your odds are of finding a block from solo mining so you get to keep the whole thing. I know some of it is luck based but if you have enough mh/s you should have decent odds and be able to keep the block reward for yourself Cool. So can any of you math wiz's give me a formula or point me to a calculator I can use that will basically give me my "chance" to find a block solo. Thanks in advance.

Try this:  https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc

Just put in your hashrate and change diff to asiacoin diff.

Thanks.  I will take a look after I am done eyeballing all those sweet sweet hashes you are generating. Can I ask what kind of equipment you are using?

I only owned 8MH of the 120 you see there.  The rest is rented on leaserig.  So, this coin better do well.  Smiley

Edit:  I see a user found a block in less than a day with about 3MH.  But that's more luck than anything.
